CaneBrain 95
Mmmm...In and Out.Just lobbing this one up for Ron_Mexico.Channeling Hubie Brown:"Now you see here, this kid Whiskey 16 is what I like to call a true point guard. Is he thinking of his own joke?? No way this guy is a team player. He isnt looking to score....he is looking to feed his big men and keep them happy.Watch here as he throws up a beautiful alley-oop pass setting up superstar humorist Ron Mexico for an easy duece. Unselfish, folks. Thats what team play is all about."Yeah, this Whiskey16 has Tremendous Upside.Dont you mean Tremendous Upside Potential (TUP)??? God, Bill Simmons has done so much for comedy.Another thing I missed about FCP....a good old thread hijacking. It's good to be back.I can hijack with the best of them.....as an act of contrition I will answer one of your earlier queries.I dont hate losing pots to a girl/woman/transvestite. I dont see any reason why females shouldnt be great at poker (as opposed to basketball, for instance).I usually assume any girl in a casino is a GOOD player. Just because so few play in general. So, I always treat female players with perhaps a little more respect than a random guy.

bleacherbum3 9
A little off-topic, but..... anyone else find it hard to get pumped up to play online after coming back from a Vegas trip??? After 4-5 days of live play, I sometimes take a while to get back to the old laptop.

Ron_Mexico 4,219
back on topic. I think women as a whole are less successful due to sheer numbers and b/c they are more inpatient than men. And thickheaded. I remember watching one of those ladies night poker tournies, and they were betting like they were at a high speed table. No posturing. They seemed irritated someone would dare not believe their bet. Insulted if you will. That is my opinion. Doesn't mean I don't respect em and don't play my game. Just my observation on the few I've seen.

After 4-5 days of live play, I sometimes take a while to get back to the old laptop.Every time I play Live (vegas, AC, foxwoods, even home game) I always think to myself "man that is so much better than online poker."I think thats why I do better live. I am more into it....and I enjoy it more. Live poker rules. Online Poker is to Live Poker as masturbation is to Sex. (for all you analogy fans)

So, I always treat female players with perhaps a little more respect than a random guy.The women I saw playing seemd to generally be good. After getting past the nervous jitters of playing my first night, I came back Saturday and it didn't take long for me to earn respect at the table. The men at the table were all very nice to me. I know some of them respected how I played and others just liked looking at my strategically placed cleavage, but in all I didn't run into any problems.
leftygolfer 7
Which restaurants did you hit? I like Hyakumi, the japanese steakhouse at Ceasars a lot.....I bet you didnt think to hit up In and Out burger!Mmmm...In and Out. One of the many thing I miss about living in California. We almost ate at Hyakumi, but instead we had sushi at a nice retsaurant at the MGM. I honestly cannot remember the names of the places we ate, except for Emerils (easy to remember).Shibuya? Great Sake collection.MGM restaurants rock :!:

AgroPoker 0
I do like living in Idaho, but the restaurants here are pretty bland. What part of ID are you from? (You can be general, North, South, East, or West). I used to line in ID. Live in Vegas now. Anyway glad you had a good trip.
