back from vegas

I had an amazing time is Las Vegas this weekend. This was the first time I played live poker in a casino and I wasn't sure what to expect. I played at the MGM on Friday and Saturday night. I had a great time and won about $400. I was pretty nervous at first but it didn't take long to realize that most of the players at my table had no idea what they were doing. On Saturday night there were two guys at my table that were celebrating their 21st birthdays, an asian business man that didn't speak english and a couple of drunk guys. I could have stayed all night taking their money, but the friend I was with was getting tired and wanted to quit while she was ahead. I do like living in Idaho, but the restaurants here are pretty bland. I enjoyed eating in Vegas almost as much as playing poker. The restaurants and the stores were amazing. I didn't want to leave. A friend from California called me while I was there (on my birthday) and said he wanted to meet me in Vegas some time in February. He doesn't play poker but he isn't the type of friend that would mind if I ditched him for a few hours to play. I can't wait to go back.

Thanks guys. It's good to be back...sort of. I'm glad to be back online but I wish I were still in Vegas.I was really surprised by the small amount of women I saw playing this weekend, especially at the MGM. At first it was kind of intimidating, but in the end I think it worked to my advantage. The cashier told me that alot of the men don't deal well with losing money to a woman at the table. I didn't run into any problems with the men I played with, but I could see how hard they took it when they lost a pot to me instead of one of the other men. Since I don't seem to run into this while playing online, I was wondering if any of you have a hard time playing live games with women? If so, is it easier to play against women when you are online and why?

If you could only see the surprised look on my face. One for someone who likes living in Idaho, the other for believing the restaurants are bland.Color me shocked. Nice to have you back. And in the back.

twister with a fat girl is tough. as is hopscotch. and don't ever play smear the queer with a hefty girl. or monopoly with a fat chick. Takes too long and she gets pissed and starts eating hotels.I hang out with a lot of fat chicks. I've convinced them my spunk tastes like white chocolate.Where am I going with this? I love Idaho. The state and the girl.

Mmmm...In and Out. One of the many thing I miss about living in California. We almost ate at Hyakumi, but instead we had sushi at a nice retsaurant at the MGM. I honestly cannot remember the names of the places we ate, except for Emerils (easy to remember).

I never know when to be impressed, insulted or touched. Mostly I think you just leave me confused. But I think that's the way you like it.

Unselfish, folks. Thats what team play is all about."

Nice BS. It could have been him writing it.I really like the term easy duece. That will be in my submissions for someone that needs a team name. I hope you don't mind.

Sure, enjoy it. All my fantasy teams are named either the Vice City Hurricanes or the Cobra Kai. (and yes I was using this name before Bill Simmons suggested it....he stole my thunder just this once)

I actually have no problem playing with women at all. Some women I've played with no more about the game then the men at the same table. I treat everyone at the table the same because you don't need to be a man to be good at poker. Just look at Ron if you don't believe me.

Too easy. Can't take it. Anything would be obvious. I prefer a Fletch reference here instead.
Like:I'm lobbing it up to you because you're 5'11, but play 6'6 with the afro?(sorry, couln't remember the exact heights)
