popular poker players speaking engagemnts

Recommended Posts

A very good friend of mine is in the marketing dept for a large multinational company and they are putting on Poker seminars in CA, NY and one other place that they have offices. She needs to hire a couple of popular poker players for these seminars and last night she asked my advice on who to choose and sent me their day rates to help make the decision. It is basically 6 hours of "work" for the poker player to give a speech and play with the employees.I have to go home now but if this thread is still around, I'll post some of the day rates. Its funny.BTW, why can't I work for a company that sponsers teaching the employees poker?

Of course my rate is the highest. Look at the huge number of tournaments i've won in the last 3 years and my reputation as a feared cash game player. Also I am a multi game specialist, look at how many different games my NINE bracelets are in.Finally my peers undoubtedly consider me the classiest and mot eloquent representative of the game. :club:

David Williams went to SMU, right? Not Princeton?
He started at Princeton but wanted to be closer to home. I actually know someone who knows someone whose son was his college roommate, allegedly. True story.I think they are going to with Gordon. Gotta go with mass appeal and these are IT seminars. So, goofball central. No offense. Can anyone help me get an avatar up?He is very personable

David? Shrug, yeah he is quote the charmer. I used to judge most of the high level Magic events he played in pre-poker days. He actually was banned for cheating from Magic for a period of time.
David Williams: Another high-profile case of Magic cheating, Mr. Williams was caught with a set of Accumulated Knowledge cards that had bent corners, allowing him to locate them easily and conveniently during shuffling. David was levied a one-year sentence by the DCI.
Today seems to be the day of things I knows stuff about on FCP forums.. I almost feel like a contributor...

1. Pick any picture, anywhere on the web. Right click and save it to your desktop. 2. Go to www.irfanview.com and download their software (I think they'll link you to download.com). 3. Right click on the icon on your desktop and select "open with" and choose Irfanview.4. Resize the picture (try 100x100) and save as a gif. (you have to go to "Image" from the navigation and select "resize/resample")5. Go into "my profile" on fcp, and go to the bottom where it has a button to browse for an avatar.6. Select the gif.7. Save, and enjoy. On a side not, I think it's hilarious that David Williams cheated at Magic. You're welcome, my friend. That's what I'm here for.
