jj_frap 0 Posted November 15, 2005 Share Posted November 15, 2005 02/26/06.......the game must really suck. don't compare it to gt4. compare it wsop...which isn't that good. the single player gets boring after a few days and if your going to play online just go to a poker site. danny boy would have been better off starting stacked as an actuall play/real money poker site.I disagree entirely...We don't need another useless website getting its ass kicked by PokerStars, Party Poker, Ultimate Bet, Full Tilt, and the oodles of casino networks.We do, however, "need" (In the sense that -- given the competition -- there is a market for one right now) a decent poker videogame...Whether or not I buy the game will depend on how good of a PC I have come February...My buddy still hasn't come through on the power supply for my good computer (By which I mean state of the art in January of 2003..lol..My back-up one is an old Celeron2 566 mhz overclocked at 850 mhz, a GeForce2 MX400, 256 MB of PC-100 SD-RAM, and (the one luxury I've bothered to move from my maintain system) my lovely SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS), so I may just replace it myself...And since I can't be bothered to get my PS2 connected to the Internet, I don't intend to get that either...I play on Omaha on Stars, but it would be nice to have a lavish game to jimmy around with when I'm in tilt mode. I know they are reverse compatible, but it would be cool to have all the graphics. I think working with those systems they could really make a poker game feel like a live game. Feb. now... I'll believe it when I actually have it in my hands. What's the delay???? You are promoting this to the hilt and they keep delaying. BarronVangorToth 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Share Posted November 27, 2005 Delays happen -- and if given the choice, I'd rather wait while they make what is bound to be the absolute best poker videogame on the market rather than get something too soon not worthy to bear the Daniel Negreanu moniker. They are undoubtedly losing money by the delay so you must applaud them for doing something that benefits us AND costs them. It shows that Mr. Negreanu is working with a first-rate operation and not some chop-shop willing to throw any-old product at us in order to make a buck. Sure, I wish I was playing it now ... but it'll be just as much fun later -- and, it'll be perfect. Until then, we can all practice our patience. Link to post Share on other sites
