just tried it in HU tourneys.. put tape over my monitor so i couldn't see my hole cards, played it out with only the board and only looked at my cards if i got RE-raised a very big amount. (or on the river when show down is obvious) and went 3 for 4. 5$ plo8 and hold em.i even told em i was blind after i took em down quite a bit and that just made it easier. try it out... tell me what you think, i'll post more on my exp tom. when i have time.

Wow. That is interesting. I play blind 3/6 at the cardroom occasionally. I find it to be quite fun and an utter waste of money. The rack i lose is usually worth the reaction of someone when i crack their aces with 3-7.

I'll disagree but only with the back up of Scott Fischman. In a recent article in a poker magazine (all in?) he said it really can be valuable as a teaching tool. He said it really helps you learn to play position. So for making money immediately? probably not. Educational? scott says yes.edit: I believe he was also talking about online sitngos

playing blind anytime is stupid in my opinion. you want to create some sort of image? say you're playing blind but look at your cards.
I'm pretty sure thats how you get anally raped in the parking lot.

I can see how this can be a good "learning" experience when your playing live, teach you how to play position and help you learn to read people better, but online I think it's just plain retarded.

I really am blind, so this is how I always play. Sometimes I'll have my dog tell me what my cards are, but I can only do this online, in the casino they think he is giving me advice.

last i checked you cant play NL Omaha PL....I usually play one or the other in one hand, but thats just me.
