subsin 0 Posted August 28, 2005 Share Posted August 28, 2005 im playing 1/2nl with $100. after a few hands a get J J in mid position, 2 people call me before it gets to me, i raise to 12, all folds to the two previous callers who also call, flop is all undercards with 2 clubs, first guy checks, 2nd guys goes all-in for about $80, i know i have him beat, i call and he turns over 95 , with my luck the river comes K , and he pouts how he knew he had the best hand the whole time, stupid smucks, argh!!! It is a frustrating beat, and you did have the best of it when you went all in, but he still has a 32% shot of beating you, plus whatever percentage of the time you will lay down tptk, or pocket pairs thinking he has an overpair to the board. Not a great bet on his part, imho, but still not a horrendous beat, like someone catching a two outer with one to come. Link to post Share on other sites
