Sean_ec 0
Cash game dwindled down. I was up quite a bit. Me and a good friend, steady player, decided to go heads up for a few hands. We decide the one we are about to deal is the last hand.Blinds : .50/$1Pre Flop : Hero leads out with $2. Friend calls.Flop: As Ah 5cHero checks, Friend checks.Turn : 3dHero checks, Friend goes all-in ($12 or so)Hero calls.Hero's cards on the left.

dna4ever 2
I'll tell you what would be sweeter,a better camera? some overhead light? a flashbulb? its pretty cool that you have a friend that has absolutely has no piece of this hand and then proceeds with the ever tricky flop check turn all in maneuver. Royal_Tour 0
I'll tell you what would be sweeter,a better camera? some overhead light? a flashbulb? Royal and Ron in tantric positions..?. Ya not sure if the whole . check all in is much of a play. Its bascially.. hey look at me, i'm trying to pretend i'm slow playing, but everyone with half a brain knows that if i really did have a monster with this board, after you raised pre flop. i wouldnt push the turn, i'd check it, cuz i'd make my move onthe river giving you a chance to at least try to make a hand or a bluff yourself.and thus making my all in push very obvious since i dont have a hand and am trying to buy you off this one. benhoug 0
For me there'd be nothing better than cracking your AA w/ small cards for a big pot on the last hand of the night. About a year ago I did exactly that against a guy who used to play in my home game. He got cute with his AA on a flop of 228 and allowed me to catch up w/ him when my 78 filled up on the turn. The beauty of it was the guy knew he was beat, but just had to pay me off for like 50 bucks b/c he was too stubborn to lay down the aces on the "last hand" of the night.flopping Quads is pretty cool though. Sean_ec 0
Yah, don't get me wrong. I'm not posting this because it was a brilliant play on either of our parts. I know why he did it, I woulda done somethign similar with it being two buddies, not the highest stakes in the world and the very last hand....if anything just to see it.Also, that's a pretty damn good picture for a camera phone DNA. ;)I shoulda taken a picture of his face instead though huh?It reminded me of the Bitter Beer face commercial from back in the day.
