what do you prefer most?

Recommended Posts

here is a simple question for you to answer (dont look up odds, just say what you prefer).OK so the flop is J 9 2 (rainbow) and you know your only opponent is holding an offsuit 10 8. What hand would you most prefer to hold? Is that hand also the best possible hand to hold or do you just prefer it for some reason or another.

I also prefer QQ in the real world, but if I am truly sure he has T8 and we are not all-in, I prefer T8, because I can't lose, and I can bluff him if we miss. Actually I'd take any 2 cards, since I know when he can't call.

Its got to be JJ for top set or Q-10. I'd probably go for Q-10 because if you both make the straight you are going to make a lot of money and if you both miss you've got the best hand
how could both of you make the straight when you have Q10 vs T 8 on a J92 board to make a lot of money..Q10 makes a straight with a K/8, and 10 8 makes a straight with a Q/7the only way those hands make a straight if its runner runner KQ or 87teneight

Q 7 takes away five of his outs (a Q, a 7, and the other 3 10's that would make your straight), and Q high beats him if neither of you improve...so that's a good one...i still want Q 10 though

If i know what my opponent has why would I care what my cards were. This is a pointless thread.I'm gonna have to say 104 off suit, my favorite hand, the buttram.
how exactly does knowing your opponents hand make it pointless as to what you are holding? Your logic makes no sense. This was a Q asked to me from a friend who preferred to hold Q 10, and i told him i preferred to hold QQ while another buddy would rather have JJ. I believe QQ is the mathematically best hand to have as well.

QQ vs. 10-8 in this situation is about 77% to 23%JJ vs. 10-8 in this situation is about 75% to 25%Q10 vs 10-8 in this situation is about 75% to 25%And, 10-8 vs. 10-8 is clearly a draw, unless your 10-8 is suited to at least one on the board in which case, the odds range from 52% to 60%
