This morining I entered a TEC Freeroll. After days and days of practice I qualified to the Final Round on Sunday. (I also scored two WSOP warm-up Round 2 entrie but that is a story for another time.) If I can make top ten out of a field of 1000 I get a UB Tournament Entry Chip.For those who don't play at UB, a Tournament Entry Chip, or TEC, is a type of voucher that be reedeemed two help pay for a UB tourney with buy-in of $100 or more. For example, If you use a TEC for a $200 buy-in, you are actually just putting up a 100 for your buy-in. If you use it for a $100 buy-in tourney, you basically pay nothing.Freerolls are no joke. You see guys doubling up with rags. It makes it hard to play the right way when you see the people take the early chip lead. But eventually my chips grew as the all the clowns' chips shrink.Well there was one mistake with the keyboard I made. I was dealt ace king and was gonna raise tripple the big blind but by mistake I bet half my stack. My insane bet was called by some clown. On the flopped I pushed all in and the other guy called with his straight draw made with jack ten. My Ace high was good on the river.Well I hope everything goes well in the Final round. I have big plans for that TEC.

Good luck. I have yet to make it that far, though I've only played maybe a half dozen of the TEC freerolls. Just can't work a 3 - 5 hour freeroll into my schedule most days.Mensch
