Bigredlorry 0
I play sng's exclusively and have buily my bankroll from total deposits of $440 to a very healthy $3500(+ - 300) in about 6 months i never missed a level really started off playing $1 now i up to $100 sng's, however i had hitches at the $25 i went on a month losing streak. flew threw the 1,2,3 and 5 dollars got up to about $250 from $50 initial deosi, then lost all deposited $100 played to my goal of $350 which went fine moved up to $10sng's did fine, played a month at that level next move was 15 dollars broke the thoudand mark n hit 1300..ish then started playing $25 dollar and i dunno what happened lost the vast majority, lost about $1000 so i withdrew the remaining $400 took about 5-6 days off and then opened a new acount with bonus took bankroll to $1000 playing only $25 dollars, at about $2000 i started $50's all the way to the current $3500 ish.will play $100sng's but only when i sustain 4000+ for like 15/20 sng's. Sng's i find can be really streaky at times ive had days where ill play about 12 a day and cash in ten of them but every now and then it seems like the cards conspire against me!! I love the sng format, cant play cash really when i tried playing cash the limits i played at were too low and there was no skill at all it was a complete card catching exercise, i dont think i could play cash now at all because i feel like i should come first or second in every sng because i feel like ive developed a system that seems to be working well, i use the same moves see the same moves so often i feel like i have an edge over mostly anyone.... dont figure to be a great player but the sng format suits me perfectly and i seem to be nailing it!! hope this doesnt put a curse on me!! Bigredlorry 0
sorry was rambling my point being through experience i like to have 40Games in the tank before i move up a level. that might seem a bit cautious but better to be safe than sorry.
KTW 0
If you want to make them your "main" source of poker income you need at least 100X you MAX level to go for it. 8)

bulldog999 0
Whatever you do keep really good stats. Theres a link in some of the posts on here for an awesome SNG excel spreadsheet. I'd play 100 SNGs at a lower level than the $30 or $50 first to see how you do. I'f you're not beating $10 SNGs at around 20% or better ROI (see bet the pot article if you don't know ROI) it could be bankroll suicide playing $30 or $50.
