ignoramus 0 Posted August 20, 2005 Share Posted August 20, 2005 I have recently joined a legal Pyramid Scheme, it has another name but it is what it is.Here's the jist of it.Each month I pay $50 into the group, A portion of the money goes towards lottery tickets and the other portion goes towards paying the people ahead of me in the pyramid. Now I am to recruit 5 other people and in turn they recruit etc.Each month I am to recieve a portion of the lottery winnings as well as money from those belowMy question is has anyone been a part of such a system and if so was it worth while or a total scam?Its seems good to me and i was given a 33 page document outlining all the details, normally these things are illegal but they have had many lawyers look it over to make it legit.So far I have 3 members joined up below me so things are looking good.any feedback that I can have will be very much accepted and appreciated Link to post Share on other sites
aadams_22 3 Posted August 20, 2005 Share Posted August 20, 2005 Don't bother with them. I have seen too many people get taken to the cleaners by pyramid schemes. Those things are only profitable to the people at the top of the pyramid. If you want to make money from them, you are much better off starting one yourself. ignoramus 0 Posted August 20, 2005 Author Share Posted August 20, 2005 Well I'm near the top which is why i decided to give it a try, also I can opt out anytime so i'm not locked into any big cash.It hasn't launched yet, starts in Sept, i'm also told that anyone in prelaunch will be guaranteed 7 levels below them once it relaunches in the US. I realize that may be a hook to get me in but I do realize that it may very well be a scam although it looks far more legit than previous ones I've come across.I do appreciate your response, which was the same as my first thoughts too.
