I don't know if this has been mentioned in regards to gas...But I watched one of those "Give me a breaks" by John Stossel of ABC and he makes some good points that those who bi.tch about gas prices should really think about..A gallon of ice cream costs $3-4A gallon of milk costs $3A gallon of water can run as high as $3 and usually around $1You get the point.. a gallon of anything usually costs more than a gallon of gas. let's put this comparatively to how far a gallon goes with each substance.gallon of ice cream, single college student: couple weeks, maybe a week if he's a fatassgallon of milk: i know when i lived on my own, i couldn't finish a gallon of milk off before it expired, so 2 weeks-isha gallon of water: don't really buy gallons of water, but if i did, i would buy the cheap walmart shit for like .50/gal and be fine with it. plus, it'd last me at least a day or two.gallon of gas: 25 miles, or maybe two days back and forth to work.and i drive a somewhat economical car.
