Ya gotta love the ferrari dealership in the Wynn ..I was there last week.I really like the Wynn.. I heard some bad reviews from it at the start. But the seem to have smoothed things over with all the bugs that comes with anything new.I didn't really like the poker room.Very nice tables and chairs. There was something about it I didn't like. AND no i didn't loose any money..I was hoping to get a chance to meet DN but he was no where to be seen while i was there.Over all I will stay at the Wynn my next time in vegas.I like it much more than the bellagio.

Everyone i talked to thought the Wynn was overrated. I happen to agree. Nothing really stuck out. Although the Avenue Q coming at the end of the month will be excellent. Tony award winning production. Dont the charge $10 to walk into the Ferrari dealership? WTF is that??

The Wynn is very nice, but i think that in the poker world it gets a little extra attention because of Daniel's association with it. I would put it 3rd in poker rooms behind Bellagio, MGM, then the Wynn..... Just my opinion.

well since i just moved out here to vegas a month ago or so i would have to say that the MGM is the best room i played at since im there 4 nigths a week or so...i used to be a no limit player but now i play mostly limit usually 4-8...i just like the dealers and the wide open atmosphere...the tables are spaced pretty far apart and they got 23 tables which is always nice...they need a high hand or bad beat jackpot though.i thought the wynn was going to be great and big and so forth but it seemed to stuffy for me...i figured since poker is huge and the wynn is new the room was going to be the best in vegas but i do agree ill put it third as the best rooms in vegas...although they do have the best drink girls there :club:

My boss owns the Ferrari Dealership. Roger Penske. It is to my understanding his Enzo is on Display. The first week they were open they sold over 75,000 bucks in tee shirts and hats from the dealership.

i never played at the mirage but from what i can see i think there poker room needs to be expanded which is tough since its like in the center of everything but if a casino is going to be building a poker room take a page from the MGM have a lot of tables and space them out damnit to many rooms are small and only have like 10 tables

I've been to the dealership twice and haven't had to forfeit a nickle. As for the Wynn... I think the Wynn is going to appeal to a certain clientele. It has a more intimate feel than Bellagio, yet retains much of the appeal. The poker room has a dark, yet rich feeling to it. I personlly prefere the Bellagio's poker room to the Wynn's, as I enjoy the lighter feeling. However, I wouldn't hesitate to play at the Wynn. I saw a few name players playing at both poker rooms on the same evening, including Huck Seed, so I imagine many of the pros aren't discriminating either, but are simply going where the game is currently best.

But you got sooo close to winning two cars. And yes, you can see a lot from inside the store. Actually, you see about everything, just not upclose. You miss out on seeing those gearboxes that can only be described as 'sexy'.

I was not impressed at all. Too cramped and that $10 cover charge to look at Ferraris was a slap in the face. Ceasar's has a store with Ferraris, Lambos, Bentleys, Porsches, etc that is free.My ranking of Vegas poker rooms.1. MGM2. Bellagio3. Mirage4. RioThe rest are not on my play list.

Im going to be staying at the mgm in a couple of weeks...my friend is a degenerate high roller so we are comped all around with a fat suite. Should be fun. Anyways, i plan on doing all my poker playing there. My question is, what do they spread? I am hoping to play stud h/l or stud primarily...is it easy to get a seat in those games? I would like to hear about the room a little more so i can go with a clear picture of what to play and when. Thanks!

you will not find stud or stud H/L at the MGM...try the mirage they usually have pretty active stud games....the MGM usually only spreads limit and no limit holdem usually only going as high as 4-8 on limit and 2-5 NL...you can put an intrest list up but i doubt it will ever fill....every once in a while you will get a 10-20 game or a horse game going at the MGMwhen they first opend the room they spread as high as 40-80 but since there is a bar next to it that plays hip hop all night most of the high limit players wont play there...so i guess when my roll is high enough to move above 4-8 i will have to find a new place...oh well...hope this helps

The only problem I have with the MGM room is on weekends (when all the tourists are there and it's best to play). That Centifuge bar is so damn loud it's almost impossible to concentrate, and when that closes, then the Rainforest Cafe starts doing its thing. I was amazed the first time I played there.Still, that $3/$5 NL game is excellent!

You guys are kidding right? A waiting line to get into a Ferrari dealership and a $10 cover? I know it's Vegas, but that's just wrong. I love exotic cars and I've seen more Ferraris and other exotics that I wouldn't even consider even the standing in line side of the equation let alone the cover charge.Mike B59 Austin Healey (my baby)62 Aston Martin DB4 Vantage GT (presently being restored)
