Ummm actually no Insanity, I usually sit on the baselines so the camera really doesnt see me. Plus we dont have a baseball team here so theres no real reason to wave to a camera in my softball leagues. Just letting the person who said you couldnt use a cell phone that you could. Flame on though man flame on. P.S. Id rather be the guy waving at a camera than be an internet tough guy talking crap. Stay hot bro.

Interesting stuff.I believe that some casinos will soon set up their own online sites, which can only be accessed from PDA's issued by the casino to customers while they are located from inside the casino (for security and legal purposes).Pretty brilliant strategy, me thinks. Why let Party Poker and other internet sites get all the profits from this idea?
Actually I heard foxwoods did something similar to that idea, I think, called playaway. They made it so people who play there live could access thier online casino from home got shutdown. I don't remember the whole story.

I didn't say "the guy", I said that guy. And if you're happy being that guy, then that's more than enough for me

Only certain poker rooms disallow the use of cell phones. The Mirage is not one of them. It is NOT connected to the Sports Book. It has nothing to do with the poker room. It is a Nevada Gaming Board rule involving wireless communication and sports books. Mandalay Bay's room is in the sports book and the Rio's room was also (before the Series). Most rooms just won't allow you to be on the phone while in a hand. Of course, at the Wynn, you can do anything you want.

At least its the first I've heard of it. From a blog I read once in a while:"So the other night at the Mirage 40/80, it was getting late--pushing 4am--and I kind of one-eighth heard one of the other players talking to the dealer about something concerning wireless internet connections. I immediately thought nothing of it and forgot about it.Then I heard the dealer ask, "Does anyone mind?" And I glance up to see that same player pulling out his laptop computer from a bag. Figuring he was just going to check email or whatever I grunted in reply which I hoped would be taken for "Why, not at all. Thank you for asking, fine sir," and once again I immediately forgot about it.But then a few minutes later I glanced over at him during a hand and saw that his computer screen was facing the table. And on that computer screen was a sight that I knew very, very, very well.He had open two tables on Party Poker. No censored censored. Here he was playing a live 40/80 game and he was also multi-tabling at Party.Talk about high comedy. I've joked with friends many times about doing just that--sitting down at a live poker table and in the long dead time between hands playing some online poker, but even I never had the cajones to actually try and do it.But now I'm very tempted..."
And if you pull my other leg it'll play 'Jingle Bells'!And God help us if it ever comes to this.Best...

To the people saying you cant use your phone in the poker room you are 100% incorrect! Ive lived in Vegas and I have for A WHILE. You cant use cell or wireless devices around pit area games i.e. blackjack, roulette, or craps, but in the poker room and at the poker table they dont give a censored. Ive been on the phone for upwards of 20 mins at the poker table at the bellagio. Now as far as the computer goes that I have no idea about, but cell phones are just fine.In ZAX
I have been told I can not use the cell phone if I am in a hand but simply put the phone down when I want to play.~sublime
house rule: I play daily at Wynn or Palms, and talk on the phone without problems.

I can say that I've used my phone at the table a number of times. A laptop I'm not sure about, but I'll let you know next week. Wow, I just realized that I'm averaging one week per calendar month of being in Vegas this year. And I still have two more trips planned. Woohoo! for me.
[/b]Hey buddy, your so busy smooching your own tail you haven't noticed your boyfriend sat in the corner waiting for his turn! :club:
