econ_tim 0
A mistake I've noticed in some hands I've posted in the last couple weeks is not being agressive enough on flop with lots of outs. Now I think I've got it.Hand 1Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converterPreflop: econ_tim is CO with [Kh], [Jh]. UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls.Flop: (13 SB) [9h], [Th], [9d] (6 players)SB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP3 checks, econ_tim bets, Button calls, UTG calls.Turn: (11 BB) [3c] (3 players)UTG checks, econ_tim checks, Button checks.River: (11 BB) [Jc] (3 players)UTG checks, econ_tim bets, Button calls, UTG folds.Final Pot: 13 BBHere, 3-betting the flop not only got me extra value, I got a free card too. Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (2 handed) converterPreflop: econ_tim is SB with [As], [Qs]. econ_tim raises, BB calls.Flop: (8 SB) [7s], [8s], [Td] (3 players)econ_tim bets, BB calls. On flops like this I need to raise for value regardless how many opponents I'm facing.
