EyeofDeath 0
Dan,Just curious who these guys are because I see em all the time playing 1,500/3,000 and 2k/4k... One guy is prolly in his forty's and has a curlyish mullet, typical dresser, no name player in the industry and the other is an older guy, balding, wears glasses, plays conservative and usually crosses his legs during the game... There's also been a recent asian player too that I didn't recognize playing 1k/2k mix with Will Wilkinson, Ted Forrest and supposedly played Gus 3k/6k h/u last week for 10 hours starting at midnight.P.S. Couldn't these 500k matches break you if shit didn't go your way for a few weeks...[/b]

Ron_Mexico 4,219
Here is an odd question. If it is basically the same guys all the time, and nobody is a big loser in this game, aren't they just shuffling their money around the table?Chip to DoyleDoyle to ChauChau to whoeverDoyle to ChipChau to DoyleDoes this keep anyone else up at night? Mr. Blonde 0
Wondered about that myself, Ron.I can't see how anyone in their right mind would sit down at a table with those guys.

PokerDealer2005 0
Mihn Ly is probably the asian, sorry if I spelled his name wrong. David Benyamine, David Grey, Lyle Berman have all been playing in it as well.

They play only to give all their money to Barry Greenstein, the greatest cash game player to ever live.(sw) - Okay, so it's not quite THAT simple but Barry claim to be a big winner in that game and no one else in the game seems to want to contradict him. I've heard rumours that Hanson doesn't do so well in the game and he must have a lot of cash to potentially leave on the table.

Sushiman 0
I believe the group mainly profits from rich outsiders with big enough egos to sit down and not mind dumping a couple of hundred grand. I'm pretty sure the game exists for a couple of reasons:1) profit2) tradition3) casino action is typically too low for some of the regulars4) it's a private casino room oncall for you 24/7 where you and your friends can make your own rules and spread whatever game you want at whatever limits you want. Who the hell WOULDN'T take advantage of this?
Mattnxtc 0
theres always a rumor that Gus gets cleaned out when he plays but i also hear and BG will admit that gus does have million dollar nights..so he probably contributes some...I woudl say most of teh contributors are whales and pros who think they are good enough to play the big game only to be knocked down... nutzbuster 7
I've seen Greenstein, Freddy Deeb, J. Chan and J. Harmon in there often. The Asian is most likely Mihn Ly.

scoots 0
the OP asked about 1,500/3000 and "occasionally" 2k/4k. that wouldn'tbe table 1. the players listed above are playing at table 1 i believe...
