yep - once again ... the only time women players are ever discussed on forums is to rate their "hotness". If they are not considered hot - they are a waste of space. Has poker not moved on at all?? Don't worry about XXEddie Major. He's struggling with puberty and tends to get a bit touchy when the subject of women comes up...To address your original point, the general forum often has various posts like this one along with ones similar to

• "Who is the best female poker player""Who is the best poker player in general" and various versions of this, in which women players do get mentioned based on there merits as players"Who is the hottest male poker players" - although this has been a lot rarer, but that said DN did rate quite well for the skinny little uber-nerd that he is (sw)
  • I think you find that like any group of people the topic of attraction to the opposite sex is going to be a common theme and so with a group that is predominatley young and male, this sort of post is only natural.That said, the more serious poker enthusiasts here have a lot of respect for the playing skills of the 'celebrity' ladies in poker and don't assume that they have an advantage over any player based on sex.All I can say is welcome to the forum, take all the posts in General with a large grain of salt, and let the sexists continue to do their thing - it gives you a huge advantage at the tables.
