mused01 0
After a serious game of holdem, my friends and I decided to liven up things and play Indian high card. It was by far the funnest three hours we had playing cards. It didn't require much thinking and most importantly it wasn't serious. Are there any other games like these? Any other fun gambling games? It doesn't necessarily have to involve cards either. LIst them up and their rules. Oh, and does anyone know a site that teaches these?

I like Poker 0
When playing home games and everyone had a drink or two the best game for gambling is GUTS.Also, we play a progressive stud game where you need the low spade in the hole and the best hand to win the pot. If someone beats you in one way or the other the pot stays and builds on the next hand. It gets really intresting when someone has a Quad 3's with a 3 of spades in the hole only to have some guy with a 2 in the hole slow roll him. Also when someone wins the whole think with like a pair of 6's Ace in the hole... man does the table get pissed. everyone looks back at thier cards to see if they missed something. DaBruins 0
well like i said most of these are just gambling games.Acey Deucey: everyone antes in money, then you put down 2 cards side by side (say a 4 and a Q) the 1st player has the opportunity to make a pot limit bet that the next card is going to be inbetween the 4 and a Q. Say he bets half the pot, you then open the next card and place it inbetween the 4 and the Q, if he's right he takes half the pot, if he's wrong then his bet goes in the pot and its the next players turn to play the next 2 cards. If the person doesnt want to bet the hand he just says pass and his turn is over and the next player gets his 2 cards dealt to the floor. One note i should make here is that if a 4 or a Q comes then the player actually loses DOUBLE his bet and this is when he gets screwed the most. Although seems like a good bet its really a coinflip, a 5 6 7 8 9 10 J gives you the win, A 2 3 K gives you a loss of your bet, and 4 Q gives you a loss of double your bet. So although you have more winning cards than losing cards, you could lose double if either the 4 or Q comes. One more detail to note, if an Ace is the first card dealt, then the player has the option to make that card either a high or a low card (meaning Ace to King or Deuce to Ace). This is a very important decision to make since the 2nd card that comes will either help you or hurt you most of the time. I usually pick low because every now and then you will get another ace as your 2nd card and that way the only time you lose if the 3rd ace pops open. If the ace is the 2nd card dealt, the player has no option and its automatically the high card. Another detail we added recently, if you get dealt any pair (for example 5 5) you must put in a mandatory bet equal to just the ante and if another 5 gets dealt to you you scoop up the entire pot. The cards dont get shuffled until the entire deck is run through, so it helps to keep track of notable cards (like aces for example). Once the pot is empty, everyone antes again. One trick i like to pull that annoys everyone is to bet the entire pot except for 1 quarter (or whatever the lowest denomination is we're using). That way if i win then i dont have to ante again as its already in there and if i lose i save myself that chip. Plus i screw over the next few people after me since they can only win such a small amount of money with that 1 chip pot. Its 3:30 am here so i'll explain a couple more games tomorrow

DaBruins 0
here's a link to a game we call Balls, the only difference is that we play with everyone being dealt just 2 cards, including the ghost player, and not the 5 card variant they have in the link. But other than that the rules are exactly the same. We dont always just a wild card, sometimes we just run through the whole deck without a wild card in which case a pair is a great hand since you only get dealt 2 cards. http://www.pokertips.org/variants/article/96.phpedit: another difference i noticed between our versions. If only 1 player stayed in the hand, we reward him for having the balls to do so and he wins the pot if he beats the ghost player, but if he loses to the ghost player then he doesnt have to put in any money and we just go on to the next hand. This way there is room to bluff without needing to beat the ghost player.
DaBruins 0
rules to baseballhttp://www.pokertips.org/variants/article/2.phpthe way we play, if you get dealt an exposed 4, you have to add in 2 of the lowest denomination chips and you receive another card. And if you get dealt an exposed wild card (3 or 9) you must also add in 2 of the lowest denomination chips or else your card isn't wild. Any unexposed 4 wont give you an extra card, any unexposed 3 or 9 is automatically wild without needing to put in any money.
econ_tim 0
Here's a fun no-skill game. It's called Macho. Everyone is dealt a five card hand and antes a fixed amount. Then everyone holds their cards over the middle of the table face down. The dealer says "One ... Two ... Three ... Drop." On "Drop," whoever thinks they have the best hand drops their cards on the table. If only one person drops, they win the pot and the round is over. If more than one person drops, the best hands wins the antes and the loser(s) must put chips equal to that hand's total pot in for the next hand. The rest of the players get to play that hand for free. For example. If there are 5 players and everyone antes a dollar, the pot is $5. Say three players drop. One wins $5, and two must put in $5 each for the next hand, making the pot size $10. If three drop again then one wins $10, and two put in $10 each. The pot size keeps escalating until only one person drops. If no one drops, the antes remain in the pot and new cards are dealt.
eleutheromaniac 0
Pot limit Omahoe 8, a game my friend invented. It's a combination of Tahoe (exactly like Texas, only with 3 hole cards) and pot limit Omaha 8. The flop, turn, and river are just the same as with Omaha and Tahoe. You get four hole card just like Omaha, only, like Tahoe/Texas, you can play as many or as few hole cards as you need to give you the best 5-card hand.
Jelly-Filled Ace 2
The Claw. - a wicked low only pay the pot game.Strategy is to make the lowest hand with 3 cards. The Claw is a hand dealt in the middle.Every player is dealt 3 cards including the Claw, opener decides IN or OUT then the call rotates around to the dealer. If you're IN you get one more card dealt to you, if helps you, fine, if not play your starting 3 cards. Remember the Claw gets an extra card too !!In this game A24 is THE NUTS. A23 is considered a straight and they don't count nor do flushes. I.E. A24 is not the nuts, now you could draw your free card to this hand if you have the balls to.The Claws' sole purpose is so NO ONE will win unchallenged. every hand will be played with the claw be it one or five players call IN.Best hand wins. if one person only goes IN and beats the claw, re-ante and start again. If four players call IN and the claw beats all four players, all four pay the pot size. Same four players are in and one player beats the other three AND the Claw, the three losing players pay the pot size AFTER the winner takes what was in the pot out.trust me, you'll wanna start this game out with $ 1.00 antes in a 8-10 player game, on a nasty Claw night you can get 200 to 400 dollar pot quickly.
