Lavitz 0
Call. If he's passive then he very well could have flopped two pair or a set of sixes and isn't being very agressive with it. 10J is very likely, and JA could have you also. He could just as easily have JQ or JK, however, both of which you have beat.

Vade 0
I agree on just calling actually. If he's been limping in with a lot of broadways, J10 is surprisingly likely

CobaltBlue 662
Let me ask this...if he boated up on the river, is there a reason that he didn't raise the turn?
Lavitz 0
Let me ask this...if he boated up on the river, is there a reason that he didn't raise the turn?OP said he was passive. Also, cold-calling induces furthur bluffs/semi bluffs while reraising the turn might cause the raiser to fold his hand if he was weak or on a bluff, thus ultimately losing a river bet or two. Mattnxtc 0
i think a 3 bet is in order...only hand ur worried about is a boat and he just hasnt played the hand like he has it...
foldnrun 0
i think a 3 bet is in order...only hand ur worried about is a boat and he just hasnt played the hand like he has it...without knowing how specifically he has played other hands, ie slowplaying large hands or being agressive and betting many semi-bluff's, its really hard to say hes not playing like he has it... he could have easily flopped 2 pair or trips, and was only calling on the way to the river hoping he would fill his boat, with the J falling there's a large possibility of it...that in mind though i still do agree with matt on the 3-bet
LuckyMcCatcher 0
He is putting u on AK. He is raising trips thinking he has best hand. Stick the 3rd bet in. He does not put you on straight. You will be good to often to not make this raise.
rivercardbandit 0
I don't like the 3 bet. Villian woke up and raised on the river when a 2nd jack hit the board. If you 3 bet and villian caps, you're most likely beat and it's cost you 2 more big bets to find that out. I vote for calling on the river.
