Someone posted these stats on RGP. I thought they were pretty interesting. First, you obviously need a pretty big bankroll in this game. Second, notice how both of the individual stats point out basically no checkraising. I know that's been a frequent argument on the board. I still contend really good NL players hardly ever checkraise. Anyway, I thought you guys might enjoys these. One week totals 10,957 hands tracked (how many times the dealer dealtcards)Most won by a person overall $52,338.50Most lost by a person overall $46,752.50Best single day $67,319.50Worst single day $44,231.50Total Winners 66Total Losers 82Most hands played 4,565 Most sessions played 30Please note that these totals only refer to the 10,957 hands that Itracked. People with FPS check-raise. People who want to make money bet out except in very rare situations.
Yep. If you saw the WPT last night, Hoyt Corkins is a good example. He hit a set of sevens, bet right out just like he always does and won a huge pot.

Been around poker a long time, must admit though have never heard of "FPS" Anyone care to elaborate?Fancy Player Syndrome.Laying down KK because you're "sure" an all in raiser has AA, slow playing and check raising for no particular tactical reason, making "big laydowns" to any reiver scare card.etc.Ussually mediocre players who think folding is an artform.

lolFolding is an artform.Whenever I fold I try to slip my cards through the air and land in the dealers muck so perfectly he smiles at me and proceeds to deal me AA for the rest of the night.Oh it's happened.- Jordan
