Guest
all this xxeddie guy does is post stupid hands he plays and then goes on to say how great he played the hand when everyone criticizes him. its really pathetic, but entertaining. especially when smash makes fun of him haha. Suited_Up 2
Obviously the whole point was to try to boost his ego by acting like he made some great read... which he obviously didn't or he'd have folded... but it backfires because he plays like crap and nobody here is willing to help him boost his low low self-esteem. Sorry we had to ruin it for you.
Munky 0
Considering he almost never folded pre-flop...and rarely did post-flop...he probably had J 10 or sumthin in that area...so no he didntTime to head to Vegas baby!Stop playing now and get a nice hobby like collecting bottle caps or something.I don't want to have to read about how much money you lose later on.rotflmao.... wow man, that's brutal, but it's hilarious! Munky 0
This original post though, reminds me of a guy I played with in a 1/2 NL game. He wouldn't fold almost any pair, would always suck out on the river and when someone asked him why he didn't fold his bottom pair when there was so much action ahead of him, his reply was, and I'm pasting this from the chat... I logged it because it was so hilarious:Jinxed833: the rivar is ware the majic happens. u cant win much if u fold.. duh...When my friend lost 40 dollars to his terrible gutshot all in, his reply to my friend's "You're a goddamn moron" was:Jinxed833: who has teh chips?? huh??As for my theory on why Eddie posted this... it's called Little Guy Syndrome. the_stein 0
alright let me clean this upYour play was good but at the wrong time, the pot was not worth making a play at. You would have lost what? 50 cents had you folded on the flop. If this was higher stakes and you could actually get someone to lay down a hand and the pot was worth making a play at, fine, it was a right move, but the situation wasn't right at all.Sure raise for information, raise to slow down the better, raise as a bluff, etc etc. But the time was wrong, what were you hoping for when you raised?! For him to fold and you pick up the monster 2 buck pot? That's not a good idea, and by him not folding you found yourself in a mess.
Smasharoo 0
The turn raise is ****ing horrible.
the_stein 0
Yea what are you thinking with the turn raise, you checkraised him on the flop and he just called, so you obviously slowed him down, now you check again and he is fully aware that you may be checkraising yet he still bets... and you raise... bdluss 0
I do recall xxeddie saying in a previous post that he would easily call after he raised utg with queens and then there was a reraise, an all in raise, and an all in call and now the action on him and he would call. So that shows the genius in his thinking. Lets face it, xxeddie your a bad player, who doesn't take any critism at all, refuses to improve your play, and therefor will be perpetually stuck playing .25.50 holdem the rest of your life slowly giving up your $ till you have lost several g's at this game a quarter at a time. Sorry to be so mean and blunt, but please until you have something useful to say in the future or want people to give you constructive critism that doesnt get your panties all bunched up, do not post anymore. KramitDaToad 0
Hey Eddie let me give you a hand here...You are playing Texas Hold'em which is a form of P O K E R. I have said this slowly so you will recognise the word P O K E R when you hear it again.I suggest if want to play some more you go read a book on P O K E R.Pay special attention to the chapter on the rules; especially the bit where it says "... the highest hand wins..."Read this section a few times until you understand it properly. Now go back and read it again, because I suspect you will still not understand it fully.Next, read the section on probability.I realise it will be difficult. It will have lots of big words and maths stuff, but persevere as hard work will pay off.Now you should be able to you understand the following statement:"You are probably the biggest idiot at any table you sit at"Hope this helps
rog 0
So let's sum up. You check raise with bottom pair on the flop. You check raise with bottom pair on the turn (against 3 overcards, a straight possibility, and two potential callers). Then you hit your 2-outer to make the only possible winning hand you could have even hoped for, and get beat by a straight. I hate to be rude, but unless you are Kreskin, you cant put him on 2-4...give me a break. Once you hit your 3 on the river, for sure you had to show it down in case he's on a busted straight draw, or a pair or two, but I cant for the life of me figure why you'd check raise bottom pair on the turn against 3 overcards and a straight possibility. Frankly I'm embarassed for you. I'm embarassed for you not because your play is so poor, but because you come on here to pat yourself on the back for your stupendous reads, when everyone here thinks you're playing like an idiot. I dont even know what you're trying to accomplish. You dont listen to anyone. Maybe you're simply ahead of yor time, and nobody (including scores of actual pros) understands the brilliance of your play. More likely you think you're the nuts, and wont listen to anyone who tells you otherwise. You'd do well to take some advice from these forums. The seasoned vets are trying to help you. They are trying to save you money. But... whatever. Eddie knows best.Good luckRog
Munky 0
Ok, Here's a legit question. Not trying to be an ass, but I just want to know, how did you get a read on him? What was it that made you think he was weak? I just don't get how it's possible from an online limit game. Then after he called you... what were you thinking then...? I'm actually very curious..
