mnuks 0
Regarding pros at the WSOP satellites...Yes many of them do go to them. They won't necessarily be at the smaller tournaments for the first few days. They will show up for the main ESPN covered event at the end. I live in New Orleans and rail birded for the semis and got into the filming of the final table. Pros spotted.. Howard Lederer, David Williams, Evelyn Ng, Andy Block, Antonio Esfandiari. I know there were others there that busted out earlier such as Doyle Brunson, John Juanda and a whole bunch of others. I just found out they're holding another one in Oct. in Biloxi that I plan to go check out. Good Luck!

24fanatics 0
Hey DNA....I played in my first ever live tourney at the Grand in Tunica. It was a $100 + 20. I got to the final table and finished 8th. The staff was very friendly and it is a nice poker room. I too would definitely recommend staying at the Grand. All of the casinos are spread out in Tunica. I plan on being in Tunica the week of the main event. I will be watching, not playing. I need to build the bankroll a bit. I am in Thompsons Station...just south of Franklin, and I would definitely be interested in a game in Nashville.
