Guest
Hey. I've been reading this forum for a while, and it's really helpful. Now I need some advice.I'm looking for a good NL Holdem book, or at least a general holdem with great emphasis on NL. I don't really enjoy playing low-mid limit poker (And everyone, including pros, should have fun playing poker), and I can't afford to play high stake poker, I'll stick to my NL cash/sngs/.So, with that said, what's the best book for NL in your opinion? I'm looking for an informative book, not reading about TJ's gambling stories (which sounds great, just not what I'm looking for right now). Any suggestions?
LuckyDevil 0
For cash games, No-limit and Pot-limit by Ciaffone & Reuben is the best. Doyle's chapter in either SS1 or SS2 teaches aggression, but probably won't work as well in lower limit games, since it relies alot on your opponents being able to fold. efridge 0
the NLHE section is ss1 is the best literature that i've read for CASH GAMES, but it doesn't work for tournies...so don't even try. mike caro's book on poker tells is amazing for hold em cash games too. just my 2cents.
