complete lack or respect!!

Can anyone please explain to me why there is a total lack of respect for raises by these stupid players (especially partypoker). Why can I raise a $100 limper to $350 with QQ.... get called by J9o and catch my set on the flop of Q10A... Check raise 100 to 300 on the flop... 8 on the turn, and he catches his damn straight. I really don't understand why people will call a quarter of their stack with J9o, and then another 300 on the flop. Someone PLEASE explain this to me, because I really just can't seem to understand the total lack of respect for raises by these retards!!!!

Weak players mean you need to push harder - I think you should have bet more preflop and I really think you needed to push MUCH harder after the flop.When something like this happens to me, I always like to take a step back and see if I think there was something that I could have done better in the hand.You only raised him another 200 after the flop. He needed to call $200 into a pot that had at least $1100. Open ended straight with 2 cards to come, I think he made the right move calling your very small raise.

I thought of that too, but pre-flop, if I raised more and an A came on the flop i'm losing a big portion of my chips, and I didn't want to scare everyone out and win 100 from the blinds. I wanted at least one caller... post flop... it was half his stack almost, I figured it would be enough, but obviously nothing scares retards.

You have to play your big hands fast. Unfortunately these hands don't play well in multi-way pots. Thus if it means just winning the blinds and limpers money on the flop, so be it. But if you slow play the hand or try to draw people in with smaller bets, then you set yourself up for giving people the odds to draw out on your, or at least see a somewhat cheap card.
