Mandelbrot 0
$300 should get you into a satellite for the $1000 Bellagio tourney.$300 should also get you into any of the Mirage tournaments. These tourneys also have satellites for about $25-30 I believe. If you're looking for really low buy-in tournaments, look at Mandalay Bay and Luxor. But beware the ante structures and styles of play they cultivate. There are many others -- especially if you're open to going to downtown Vegas. I believe Binions has a regular low buy-in tourney there and a few others do as well.
l0nd0n3 0
I was just in vegas in November. Luxor had $25 buy in. No rebuy (which I like). 7 tables I think. Limit for the first hour. No limit after that. Frontier has Limit games.

DavidD 0
you can go to most of the poker rooms and they have a newspaper that tells you whats going on for poker buy tourneys and what not. I dont remember the name of it but i know most of them have it and all you have to do is ask a floor man. David
PestoSauce 0
The Orleans always has tournaments and check out the Sahara, they should have some too. The Luxor ones are kinda weird. I think the last time I played there, it was limit for a while, then after some time, it was no limit. or vice versa. Just ask about the betting structures before you enter. l0nd0n3 0
me either, but they must of done it that way to keep the better players calmed down a bit.
Kip 0
This tourney is the most ridiculous event I have ever seen! They say ther is only 1 rebuy (which I think is standard for low buy-in tourneys) however there is a catch...You can re-enter the tourney as many times as you want until the limit is hit, I think it was 200 or so. This allowed people to re-enter the tourney until they got lucky with there J-9 off all in preflop.
EJ333 0
The Binion tourneys are pretty well run and you get every type of player. I think they have a $150 (w/ 1 $50 rebuy) at 8:00 pm . They also have a $50 (w/$40 rebuy) at 2:00 am with lotsa drinking.
kirkwill 0
The Orleans Tourney's are decent. They are organized and start on time for the most part. Just make sure you get there early to sign up. They have limit and no-limit on different days.

Take about 90 mins to play, pays top three and no paper. Room is also next to pool and smoke free. Binions is smoke out city and they paper ya, which is total bs.

I think they have two a day, the evening one, is more than $75.Mirage has a bigger one, but I think it's only on Sunday.
ThePokerGeek 0
The Luxor tourney is a total crapshoot. The starting chips are low: 250. You can buy 50 more chips for 3 bucks at the beginning, but there's no rebuy after that. Blinds go up REALLY quickly. NL after the first hour, yes, but the blinds are constantly escalating at such a rate that any serious bet is going to be an all-in to drive out odds.To give you an idea, Top 7 pay, and after the 7th person left, the last 6 of us chopped the prize pool. The blinds were at 1600-3200, and I was UTG with a slight chip lead at T5000, and *everyone* was just around that. All of us knew this was going to be a lottery, so we decided to leave it at that.We all left with 255 dollars... for a 28 dollar buyin, I'm not complaining.Serious poker players can either not bother with this, or some might look at it as a place to beat up on fish. Whatever your taste.-PokerGeek
