I never said it does not give you much of an advantage and if that's how it came across i apologise.Knowing one persons cards is an advantage but by no means a guarantee that your going to win the poker.Poker Collusion is not usually used for winning against other people but as a way in which to transfer illegal funds or thats 95% of the cases we deal with.

Ah, ok. What kind of illegal fund transferring do you mean? I know now we are way off topic, but it was a stupid thread anyway. Do you mean like money laundering?

Dear William,Thank you for contacting us.Please note that our previous email stated that association could be either because both players shared common information or they had accessed from a similar location. As part of our efforts to maintain our integrity, we do not allow associated players to share the same tables. Also, please understand that for obvious security reasons, I cannot answer your question.Thats all they gave me, the first response didnt even relate to my question. It was never denied or approved. I know it happened because I was there, if I was lying I wouldnt have emailed them to try and retrieve the proof. When it happened the two players were in no way accessing from the same location.

Not being one who uses collusion, I can't say this with absolute certainty...but the point of colluding isn't just to "know one persons cards", but to, for example, tell your partner you have AA in early position, bet and have 3 people call behind you, and have your partner re-raise from late position with any two cards, pumping the pot.Rinse, wash repeat. Split the profits. And, you not knowing this, and thinking that collusion's point is to "know another person's cards" raises some skepticisms about your claims as to your job description.*edit* And I don't really care what your reply is, or how you're going to defend yourself...because I'm going home to have sex with my girlfriend.

kap...for someone who doesnt' care what others think because you SAW it happen and you KNOW it happened...you sure went through a lot of trouble to prove yourself.and then didn't.whether or not you're 21 or 22 or whatever it was, you're acting like a child. You ended up resorting to personal attacks when it's very resonable for many of the posters to believe that you just made up the story.understand that somewhere in your story, it just doesn't make sense. and you can't blame us for not believing.the facts say your story is falseand you expect us to agree with you on the basis of "why would i lie about this?"TTIDAHsorry i stole it absolute...but this one deserves it for sure.

Well guy I went through a lot to prove it because its still irritating when you know you arent lying for someone to tell you that you are. Why do you think people try to prove themselves??? What kind of statement was that, that proved nothing. I didnt exactly get the information I was hoping for, but they also never denied the action did they smart ass?? The story is true, believe it or not, and I really dont care anymore if you believe it or not, I dont know who you are, you mean nothing, and for that reason it doesnt matter. I tried to get the proof, if I was lying I wouldnt have gone to the trouble of attempting. So once again, thanks for your great attempt to make me look stupid, it didnt work, have a great life.

Very. Girl Next Door kicks ass.Time for a meeting, I'll see y'all tomorrow. How funny is it that I spend a few hours on a poker forum ****ing around then tell people how to spend their million dollar marketing budgets? Ok, not a million, but close. Don't want anyone to call me out. :-) Peace.

You are a fucking dumbass. You keep arguing about something that isnt possible in such a short amount of time, or if even possible at all. You're arguing against anyone with logic and even computer science majors (even though it doesnt take that level of knowledge to know you're blatantly retarded). It's hard enough to pick up on two cellular phone signals alone, then on top of that finding the IP's and logging the actions, then on top of that assume they are playing together, oh, and another "on topper", in maybe 5 min. time. Once again, you're a dumbass. A poker site is NOT going to have security measures against anything like that as Coldp1ayer said. It would be a major -EV play as well as illegal, and actually impossible.I'm not so sure about you. You swear you saw something that you couldn't have seen, so maybe go see if your "girlfriend" has a penis, or maybe even a tail. Beastiality is not legal you know.

Why do these threads have to fill up with up with such nonsense. I would appreciate some moderation at fcp. What could be a great forum is full with so much crap. I also see that some people misunderstand proxies. Has anyone tested external proxies? Oh, and MAC addresses in IP packets are specific to the computer nic card, not the router. If they blocked router MAC addressses, they'd pretty much only get a dozen customers or so. I'm wondering if anyone has played from a university LAN or similar. Are you also blocked from playing the same table in that environment? (And I would appreciate real experience instead of speculation, is that's possible :club: )

I agree with the crap thing. It happens though when so many people on here at up to their ears with it.Yes I have tested external "proxies" on multiple sites and they allow you to sit and play just fine. Which leads me to believe that most poker sites go by a strick IP = IP comparison. In college a couple years ago my roomate and I played in a MTT across the room from one another. We had our own external IP's, assigned by a central DHCP server, and even sat at the same table at one point. Of course we weren't colluding... But it would be very possible to do.Oh and as far as MAC addresses, what they were referring to was the MAC address burned into a router, which is completely changeable by the end user. A MAC address burned into a NIC is just used by the router to talk across an internal network. Which I'm sure you know. And I'm pretty certain they CAN'T be changed. Although I did hear rumors of being able to mask them, but I have never had a reason to attempt it.

Ok, I've been reading this thread for way too long. I wouldn't be so quick to overlook just how much reaching power Party Poker has. Keeping people from colluding on a cell phone is very possible and I have no doubt this happened based on my experience about 1 year ago.I was playing a low limit ring game and my wife wanted to play also. We are in the same room on a DSL connection. She joined my table and we started cleaning up the table. After about 10 minutes, maybe less, we hear a knock at the door. I answer it and two men wearing suits come into our house and go directly to our office. I'm yelling at them and quickly go get my baseball bat. My wife runs into our bedroom at the other end of the house and uses her cell phone to call 911. I get back to our room with my bat and am hit with a taser gun and drop to the floor. It really hurts. They procede to confiscate both of our computers and leave very quickly. This all happens in about 3 minutes time. My wife comes in to check on me after they leave. She's crying and trying to get a signal on her cell phone. After I get my senses back, I try to use the land line and it's been disconnected. My neighbor called the police for us and they show up and fill out a worthless report. A few weeks later I have replaced my computer and try to log on to Party Poker. I get a pop up that says my account has been frozen due to collusion and that if I ever try to play on Party Poker again they won't just confiscate my computers and account but will take "Serious" action. So, this scares the **** out of me!!!!!I now play on PStars and Full Tilt. I have learned my lesson on collusion and understand that it's just not worth it. Btw, I lived in Denver Co at the time. I have moved to a small town, own a gun that I carry everywhere I go and have changed my name. So, I don't doubt that they can track cell phones or anything else. All I know is that collusion simply isn't worth it. HAVE A GOOD DAY SIR....I SAY, HAVE A GOOD DAY!
