Wingmaster05 0
I didnt even realize the "crew" wasn't a full crew anymore. Must not keep up on that sort of thing. I couldnt see anyone in that picture either... I wonder what caused him to distrust Dutch so much though. Maybe he wasn't splitting up the money fairly amongst the crew or possible stealing some. I don't want to assume anything though until Mr. Boyd tells his tale. I always thought staking was 50/50. If the tournament was 10 grand, i put up 5 and so would you. All winning split down the middle. But maybe it's a little more one sided for the poker player.

faketree 0
all those guys are shady. dutch and all that nonsense with his online cardroom and him supposedly pocketing all the money that never was refunded to the customers and never was. something like 1000 users were never able to cash out their money.and i just haven't been able to figure out fischman. i see that he's really up high on the list for player of the year with a lot of final tables last year, but i play with him all the time online in the 3/6 Omaha 8 tables on ultimatebet. that is just weird to me. he's obivously good enough to play higher.and now with this brett jungblut ebay auction, which is shady in and of itself. it seems like he has a head on his shoulders for parting ways with boyd but then he's selling 30 mins of phone time with himself? i mean, who the F is he that someone would pay $100 to talk to him? very shady.all these guys are shady and i'd be wary of doing any kind of business with them. MarcBrown 0
I guess Dutch can't afford the buy in to the WSOP circuit event in Atlantic City. I am still waiting to hear one positive thing about this character, all I hear is how he ripped thousands of players off with his pokerspot website. I am certain that many of the top pros do not like him in the least bit whatsoever. He has been working on rakefree for almost 2.5 years now and nothing has come from it. From what I hear no one is willing to invest in his shady operations. Daniel what is your take on this character? You make move on me ?????
senate83 0
Yeah that auction reaks of something shady. Who in their right mind would pay $100 bucks to talk to Brett Yungblutt on the phone for 30 mins. I like how he gives you the option to either talk about poker...or you can talk to him about life problems, becuase he is so understanding and caring. As far as Dutch Boyd, his actions have been well documented on RGP if anyone is interested. No on in their right mind should trust him.....and is now why rakefree cant get off the ground.
doublesuited 0
dutch is a friend of mine and is a really good guy. He got in over his head with rakefree and is trying to make amends.
VirginiaGent 0
I don't know of his past, but I actually offered to bring the investors to the table and never got a response from Dutch. Of course, the legal documents would be in place protecting our stake if we backed a site such as rakefree.com.How could he be broke already from a 12th place finish in the big one in 2003? Don't get it. Finished 2nd in Razz in 2004 too. Lost to T.J.As for Fischman, he's lucky he didn' t get whipped by Joe Awada in that Hold'Em event. He made alot of crazy all-in bets and calls and he just sucked out. I thought Gavin Griffin played much stronger poker in his win.
PestoSauce 0
I believe it was Brett who said in the WSOP ESPN thing that he refuses to work for "the man". That's not leaving him with many outs, is it? As for Dutch Boyd, I can't believe he can't get those tournaments via satellites or just buy-in. It is very puzzling. That guy is supposed to be a genius.

bdluss 0
Just replying to the person who questioned why Fischman plays only small stakes online. When I talked to him in Aruba he said he does not feel comfortable playing much higher stakes online (bigger threat of teams he said) and because he usually plays 4-5 games at once, he can still avg. $30 an hour playing 3/6 with 5 tables going, which would be the same as 1 big bet at the 15.30 table. sprfcta 0
My take on J.Y.'s auction is that he just wanted a forum to vent and the $100 was incidental to that.
