lboarts 0
For me, personally, i prefer PL when the game is omaha, but i prefer NL in holdem. IMO omaha is a game much better suited to post flop players than preflop.
Spademan 94
PL is not a more skilled game, pre or post flop, than NL.NL is the same skill as PL, but instead of just using your skill calling or betting pot size, you have to use your skill for potentionally all your chips, every hand. (Unless you are chip leader, of course)Limit, NL, PL hold'em, all great games, same skills used in different ways.
Abbaddabba 0
The major difference is preflop. It's not often that bets get much larger than the pot after the flop anyways.Against extremely loose/weak players, i'll take NL hold em. Against extremely tight players, ill take pot limit. The skills needed to succeed in PL are applicable to any holdem game, including NL, but some of the skills that are used to be successful in NL aren't as applicable to PL. That's all everyone is saying. And you're wrong, PL does cater more to post-flop play.To save you from crying your eyes out:Oh no, honey, don't listen to those mean bullies. PL isn't a "more skilled game." It's just... different... okay, honey?

But that doesn't, by necessity, equate to more post flop skill. Not that difficult to understand, you'll catch on with some effort.
