Sushiman 0
Did the new shorthanded limit tables suck up all the fish? I was playing the full ring games and it seems most of my tables couldn't get over 40% seeing the flop. That's practically unheard of at Party at night. Anyone else noticing this? monoatomic 0
There is definately an increase in fish at the 6 max tables. It's an action game to them and it is conducive to bluffing and being loose aggressive.
Smasharoo 0
40% is insanely loose.
akishore 0
40% is insanely loose.eh...40% is almost a rock garden after getting used to 70% and 80% at pacific.yesterday, i played at a table with 92% flops. when i sat down, it dropped to about 86%. still, it was usually 7 or 8 people to the flop on average, and i participated in three family pots within an hour.it was like heaven. :-) aseem

Whatever 1
I hear those family pot tables are impossible to beat. The suckouts are awful.
akishore 0
except you can't multi table at pacific, which really blowsyeah.oh man, if you could multi-table there AND the fish were still just as horrible and fishy, i would drop out of school and go into early retirement.aseem
Sushiman 0
Some body really needs to write Pacific and tell them to change that rule. I'd be playing there all the time. Instead I just cleared my PSO bonus and took my profits and ran. Now I'm just playing super loose aggressive with my bonus money hoping to hit it big at the NL tables. Smasharoo 0
If they made it multitableable, the fish ratio would go way down.
dimseven 0
can't multi table at pacificoh man, if you could multi-table there How about doing one table at Pacific and a bunch of tables on another site? It's not a genius idea.
Smasharoo 0
How about doing one table at Pacific and a bunch of tables on another site? It's not a genius idea. One, the software sucks and takes up a lot of resources, two it's not worth the effort anyway when you can 12 table Party.

It's not a genius idea. One, the software sucks and takes up a lot of resources. But it's so slow that for example, for a regular 4-tabler, it counts more as half a table in regard to speed. MT'ing works fine for me on Pacific and another site, but then again I have the priviledge of a DSL connection. And I haven't gotten around to PP, but I will.
closetwin 0
dimseven, he said you could 12 table party.Don't quote half of what people say. Goddddaaammmit, that's why everyone is always right. They're always responding to half of what the other person said.CT

And I haven't gotten around to PP, but I will.I don't think a DSL connection has anything to do with how much resources the program takes up. I guess if you had a fast processor, a lot of RAM and several monitors, you could play 1 table at pacific and 20 at party.

Anyone else noticing this?I find that Party $25NL is a bit tighter during the European weekday evenings (maybe 1pm to 6pm Eastern time). There are still plenty of fish, and play is still loose compared to higher limits, but the games are not nearly as juicy as during hte US evening.ymmv
PT0077 0
Just my thoughts, but isn't 8 fish at a table a bad thing? Granted, when you have a great hand, you get paid, but can't you get "schooled" pretty easy? Meaning it would be pretty hard to show down the best hand. I would prefer 4-6 fish and 2 other fair players.
AC BillP 0
Smash may think 40% is insanely loose but i'd reserve the term for 50% (on average). You got to remember a 25-30% table(full) is just 2 or 3 guys which is pretty rocky. I think 40% is just perrrfect--BTW - I've noticed the $10 to $50 NL-Hm sit and goes have gotten much tighter and slower at Party. I see a few familiar fish swimming over to the 6 handed tables, but not sure how many since there are so many who've slipped through the net w/o my noting their names. AC BillP 0
No pt007--Look at it this way. If your AA or a set on the flop holds up a minimum of 40% +/- of the time long run, don't you want to have 8 callers on the flop and get paid twice as much money versee when just 3 call??--Another reason it's good is a lot of times several hands are drawing to the same cards--ie.(the same flushs). Some of them are dead money to a card or two and cancel each other out.
