Big Mike Watters 0
I just want him to bust Kanter. I am not the biggest Matusow fan, but he is absolutely right...the donkey factor is near overwhelming...so much so Phil Ivey joined them.If he let's the idiots chop each other up...he has a real shot. He absolutely has the advantage and the right attitude, if you believe the CardPlayer interviews he's been doing. Now he just needs to avoid bad cards.Go for it, Mike. AK33 0
I was not a Matusow fan at all as you can probably tell from my earlier posts but his interview yesterday really impressed me. I appreciated that he didn't bad mouth Raymer when he was knocked out and his analysis of Ivey's game, in my mind anyway, was spot on. I think if he takes his own advice he'll be the guy to watch. Do you guys think next year will be bigger still?
dfmaicher 0
I have been rooting for Raymer, Ivey, and Matusow all along. I like Mike's comments about Raymer and Ivey on cardplayer last night. Raymer was correct in what he did, and Ivey should have never been in a pot like that. I know Ivey and him are friends and Ivey would agree it seems.Go mouth!
Cousin Merle 0
Is there lines in vegas right now on who wins the bracelet?I am rooting for Mike and would put money down.I think my second chocie what by Black because I thought it was nice how he cared so much about the guy who went on a long dinner break that he stalled for him and even cried. The crying part is a little much though, we'll see what it was like on TV.
Guest
I'm in. Save a seat for me on the Matusow bandwagon.I loved that Cardplayer interview yesterday. I mean, few care about the game more than he does, or get that intense about it, as evidenced by his exit last year. He seems on the top of his game. Amazing focus.I just hope the bandwagon doesn't lose control and smack a Jersey wall or something. If he doesn't win: guaranteed most entertaining exit in WSOP history

JG8191 0
I really am not the biggest Matusow fan, but would love to see him win this thing. The ratings on ESPN would be huge and it's good to have a villain to love to hate. I cannot wait to see the stuff that he says to the other players at the table. I await classic lines. missIdaho 1
I remember during the beginning of the WSOP Mike made a comment about having a better chance of being hit by a bus than winning the ME.I've been cheering him on ever since. He's made the cardplayer videos worth watching.

ek703 0
i would jump on the bandwagon, but i'm worried about what will happen if i do. jumped on the lederer bandwagon with 150 to go, juanda with 50-5 left, and then ivey with 27, don't like what i'm doing to the best players. under any circumstance i think it should be entertaining, but i also wouldn't mind a donkey winning. DONKEYS win = more donkeys. I know it makes poker a much bigger roller coaster, but there has never been a time in gambling when there was so much easy money to be taken. untiltable 0
He always seems hopped up on meth or something. Figgity, sweating, and constantly talking. They should have drug tests at these events because I wouldn't be surprised if people take drugs to remain alert and gain an advantage.
another_rack 0
If Hellmuth is the McEnroe of poker than Mike is that French guy that used to flip of the judges. He is the greatest. Hopefully he can dodge Varkoni PartII, Aaron Kantar suckout master.

How can I not root for a guy named "Tex"?? And Matusow coming so close and finishing in 2nd? The reaction would be TV gold.

Footballguru 0
Mike has been one of my favorite poker players for a looong time, he is my avatar on PS...his mouth makes him entertaining, his game makes him respectable, and his chai around his neck makes him my favorite player above all else.
