my friend the donkey.

So I have this one friend whom I introduced to poker last semester. Extremely bad idea as he has no clue on how to play, constantly misreads his hand, and calls all ins with 10 high on the river because he "had a feeling." He knows he is bad, but always wants to do what everyone else is doing which happens often to be poker.Went down to AC this weekend and of course he tags alone because others are going and he has nothing better to do. I made him bring only $20 because I didn't want to hear him moan about his "bad luck" on the ride back. As luck would have it, he starts playing video poker and hits 55555, turning his 0.25 into 200 dollars in the first 30 minutes. Then he buys into a 2/4 game and makes $150 in the first hour. After that the rest of the day he won't stop going on about how "he really grasps the game now" and he "knows what to play when." He then goes into detail that he was patient and folded all hands like 72, 83, 52 and didn't go in until he had "something good like j4 or at least an A". Then he starts gloating about how he bluffed the table by raising with A high when he didn't catch his pair on the river. Of course, he completely dismissed me when I told him what the average bb/100 hands is as now he "totally gets this game" and "can't wait to goto AC again." I wasn't sure whether to laugh or smack some sense into him.So if there's any AC low limit players here, and you see a fat Asian donkey playing trash hands, don't hesitate to take his tuition money. You can recognize him because everytime he has a good hand he needs to laugh hysterically for a minute before slowrolling you on the river.
