source: cardplayerDate / Time: 2005-07-03 14:35:00Title: Negreanu Is HereLog: Daniel Negreanu may have shown up late, yet he's wasting no time eating someone else's lunch. Negreanu's big blind is raised and he calls the extra $100. The flop comes K-Q-2. Negreanu checks. The Raiser bet $100. Negreanu raises. The Raiser calls. The turn is a King. Negreanu bets out $200. He's called. The river is the 9c, and Negreanu bets out again. He's called. Negreanu, flips over K-Q. A pretty lucky find in his raised big blind. His opponent declines to show his cards, and Negreanu rakes a $1,000+ pot.

Source: CardplayerDate / Time: 2005-07-03 16:58:00 Title: Negreanu Eats Someone Else's Lunch Log: No one ever believes Daniel's got it. This time, with the board showing As-Qc-2c-9s, the bet is $400, the Non-Believer makes it $800, Negreanu makes it $1,200. The original bettor folds, and the Non-Believer makes it $1,600. Negreanu then caps it at $1,200. The river is the 8c. Negreanu bets out $400 and the Non-Believer finally just calls. Negreanu shows A-Q, while the hand that was making all that noise from the Non-Believer was Q-9. Negreanu rakes another pot, $5000+, and is now one of the chip leaders in today's event.

another cardplayer updateDate / Time: 2005-07-03 18:01:00 Title: Daniel Negreanu Busts One Log: Daniel Negreanu raises to $600 under the gun, and only the blinds give him action. The flop comes 10-9-7 two clubs. Both blinds check, and Negreanu makes it $300 to go. The small blind folds, and the big blind calls. The turn brings the Kc, and now the big blinds bets out $600. A raising war insues, and Negreanu is goes into the tank after he is three bet. He thinks for about a minute, and then reraises. The BB caps the pot, putting himself all in, and Negreanu quickly calls. Negreanu shows Qd-Js for the straight, and the BB shows A-K. For top pair. The river is an ace, and Negreanu improves to a broadway. His opponent is eliminated and Negreanu is building a stack.

Slightly off-topic but...From Cardplayer earlier:

Level 3 has just ended. Tournament Directors are currently working hard on a recipe for soup that will turn every four green chips into one black chip when allowed to simmer for 3-5 minutes. When that's complete, players will have a fifteen minute break and return for Level 4 and blinds of $100-$200 and stakes of $200-$400.
Now I haven't been reading their updates for a few days, but when did they start going all "comedy" on us? Is this the new "hip, cool" cardplayer? Or just one lone event coverage gone whacky?
