I was looking over the WSOP schedule and noticed that event #22 was $1500 NLHE. Is this the same event as the first $1500 NLHE which was event #2. Whats the point of having two events with the identical games and buy-in?

They're doing it because no limit hold em tournaments are incredibly popular right now, and $1500 is "affordable" for people who want a shot.
Amen right there man, At the current rate my bankroll is growing I'm gunna head to Vegas next year and play in a few $1500 events and take a crack at a few satelittes into bigger tournaments.I'm still pondering going to the Mini series of poker... but no one will come with me and I don't wanna go alone, lol.

I would imagine that the blind structure or something else is different. I have a hard time believing that they would give out two bracelets for the exact same thing. But, then again, I could check out the website to see that they are exactly the same. WTF?
