hes going to have to tighten up pre-flop a little bit for this game.but having more chips should allow him to be much more creative post-flop, which is where he really strives.good PL omaha players are all about manipulating the pot to give their hands proper odds, and daniel is good at reading betting patterns and making moves when he needs to.hopefully the extra few chips he starts with treats him well.

So, Cardplayer is reporting that Layne Flack is taking a nap since he's up $300 since the start. I'm thinkin DN should do the same up $1500. With blinds at 25-25, he can take said nap, go and pick up his lady at the airport and still be back in time to place out of the money. [sw... as if I needed to say]

The game is PL holdem today. Or are you just using omaha as an example?

With more chips to start with, and an emphasis on postflop play, Daniel should fare better than most in this event. Hopefully he does well so I can jump up in the pool (along with just about everyone else who entered it )

Negreanu calls, the player to his left calls and the big blind calls. 4 Players see this flop, 10c-5d-2h. The big blind comes right out betting $650, The original pre flop raiser folds, Negreanu calls and the other play does too. When the turn comes 4c, it's checked to Negreanu, who bets out $1,000. While the big blind thought some, Negreanu said "Playin this hand kinda wierd, you tryin to trap me? OK you are. Do what you gotta do." His opponent soon after these comments folds and Negreanu takes down the pot.

I assume this is the pot where he picked up a set of deuces.

Date / Time: 2005-06-20 18:27:00 Title: Negreanu the Clairvoyant Log: This just in: Daniel Negreanu can predict the future. No wonder he's such an accomplished poker pro. His opponent moved in on the short stack for $350 in chips. Negreanu was in the big blind for $300 already, so calling the extra $50 was a no brainer. "Don't even look, Daniel," his oppoenent pleaded." Negreanu looked anyway, and then said, "kings up." His opponent joked back, "Kings up, good. You win the side pot." The whole table got a chuckle as Negreanu flipped up Kh-2c, and his opponent showed pocket sevens. The flop came Kd-2h-Js. Kings up for Negreanu. "See, I told ya, kings up." The turn was the 5d, and the river, a 2s, making Negreanu a full house deuces full of kings, and eliminating his opponent out of the money.*****Negreanu then pulled out a crystal ball and read Tom Lee's palm, telling him there is a good chance he will receive two hole cards on the next hand*****.. lol
