Socko669 0
I watched the 2004 WSOP main event the other day and once again was quite impressed with Dan Harrington. You don't hear much about him becuase he is semi-retired from big time play, but I am of the opinion that he is one of the best NL players in the world. His record speaks for itself (check it out on the hendon mob database) and his making the final table two years in a row is amazing considering that he doesnt even play that often these days. I really like his tight style of play, but he can mix it up pretty well...an excellent player to watch and learn from.
Maritime 0
He should write a book or something. Maybe a couple. (s/w)
Blink20 0
He should write a book or something. Maybe a couple. (s/w)I agree, and that Doyle Brunson, what an amazing NL cash game player, he should write a nice big book on his aggressive approach...

dpianomn 0
a book would be great as long as it didn't lump ALL playing styles into 4 categories represented by animals. i'm not sure what made me think of that, but it's just retarded

HurricaneKyle 0
Dan is one of my favorite players. His seemingly bland style allows him to just toy with the psyche of his opponents. Just check out the awesome 6/2 bluff. His book is fantastic, and has improved my tournament game immensley.

hoosierAKs 0
heh... the mockery towards the OP is a little harsh... Action Dan definitely, DEFINITELY gets far less "media coverage" than some players that are no where near his level... also his accomplishments in the Main Event are better than anyone's.Outside of the "insiders" in the poker world, and people who really do know the game, Harrington's somehow genuinely underrated. It's a funny thing.
