NicksDad1970 0
I havn't had a good run of cards lately. So I decided to go to the Grand Casino to play a lil NLHE tourney. 130 entry and 1 100 dollar rebuy.I bust a few out and get 77 with 50 - 100 blinds. I raised to 225. folds to a caller UTG. He reraises me to 700. I hoped he had 2 overs so I called. The flop was KJ7. He checked I bet 400 and he raised me to 1200. I had about 5k left and he had a lil less than that. I put him all in. He called instantly with AA. He got no help.I make a lil too big of a raise. 1 caller. I had AK. The flop was QJx. He checked and I bet 1500. I thought that's about all he had left. Well he had about 3000 that and went all in. I hoped he was on a heart draw and knew I had some outs. He had AQ..... I was in trouble. Well until the K on the river came. I put a guy all in with my A-10. He was a short stack and I was trying to push him arund. He called with JJ. I got my A on the river. I put another guy all in with my 66. He called with 10-4. The flop came 4-4-x. The turn gave me the full house.Basically I played pretty good and got some serious help!Got down to 9 people and the antes were 500. Blinds were 1500-3000. I had 10 k left. (It paid 9 places) Someone suggested we all chop. That way we all get about 3rd place money. I was the shortest stack so I was willing to go along. I mean I had less than half what the next guy had. I can't believe it but the chip leader agreed. Now I can use that for my families St. Louis vacation. Now, I won't complain next time I get the bad end of it. (Well not on here I won't anyway)

NicksDad1970 0
I would have never taken an equal chop when I had the chip lead. Honestly I would have waited until the 2 or 3 low stacks were out. But it was really nice. That will pay for the hotel and the Six Flags tickets. Those friggin 6 flags tickets were 225+/- for ONE DAY!

NicksDad1970 0
Tell that to a 4,6, and an 8 year old. Last March(before I got married and she has 2 kids) I took my son to Nashville for a NASCAR 3-D IMAX movie. Then the next day I took him to Six Flags in Atlanta, The next day was a NASCAR race, then the next was an NBA game, then the last day I took him to a NHL game. He LOVED all of it.I hope that when he's 25 he'll still look back at that as one of the best times of his life. He's my best friend and an awesome little boy.
