BobCens 0
Played at Grand poker room last week. Great staff and really appreciated the smoke-free room. The only problem is that it is a long long ride for me.Tried to get a seat at Sams Town, but it was crowded and not smoke-free. I didn't try the rest of the casinos. Is there any better poker room than the Grand?
NicksDad1970 0
I like the Grand, Horseshoe and the Gold Strike. I spent the whole weekedn down there and I was most unsatisfied with the Grand. Although they were very busy so it's pretty easy to understand. As I walked in one of the guys asked me what I was there for? He said are you here to play. I said I was and he said go to the back of the line. I asked if they were having a tournament. He said yes now go to that other room. I asked him kindly to relax a little bit. I told him I was unsure of what I wanted to do. I asked if he could tell me what was the entry fee on the tournament. He then calmed down a bit and took the time to explain it to me. This whole time I could hear the people yelling" Players, Don't come up here seeing where you are on the list. We'll tell you when it's your turn". Even though I understood they were busy and people were bugging them it didn't sit well. I mean if you've been waiting for a couple hours and you went to the bathroom, maybe they called your name while you were away. Also if you've been sitting for a couple hours it's makes sense to see how far away you were. It would have been pretty easy to do what the other casinos were doing. Have a big board where people can see where they were on the list. Once again I do like the Grand and plan on playing more there. But I hope in the future they do a little better.
