Balloon guy 158
He understands both government and 'foreign affairs'. It's just that he's a legit change/shakeup candidate the likes of which nobody here has seen in our lifetimes, so whenever he makes changes or proposes policy drastic shifts, people say 'he's wrong' and there's always a study to back any claim up, but it's not necessarily true. This all seems strange since 'do nothing, more of the same' has been the default American policy on everything for the past 40 years. So, take North Korea. Nobody, anywhere, believes the norks are capable of a sustained battle against a major power, never mind the United States. What they have going for them is a nuke and a madman. It's sort of like a retard who somehow got a hold of a pistol. The retard would not survive for a second after he started shooting, but the problem is he could still kill some people, so you find yourself constantly saying "Nice retard... Nice retard..." and hoping he doesn't shoot, because you'd rather nobody get shot and you don't want to deal with shooting a retard. The retard now realizes that he has power, so he starts pointing his gun and demanding things. From time to time, the retard fires off a shot and everyone flinches and says "Nice retard... Nice retard... Don't get mad, retard... Nice retard..." Eventually, you realize that your only option is to get rid of the armed retard unless you want to live your life answering to an armed retard. Retard Rights advocates will protest you and whoever is in office will receive blowback from the opposing party who will accuse them of being a warmonger, academics will propose studies that say its all wrong but there comes a point (probably here soon) where the right thing to do is make the retard with the gun to no longer be a consideration. Trump is the kind of guy who would do that. Is he wrong? First: 10 points for style But the leftist answer is to make pistols illegal. Then import more Special Needs, so they can see how nice we are, and they won't want to shoot the pistol again. Then give other Special Needs countries bigger pistols..something something fairness. Lastly raise up Special Needs to lead the leftist movement to prove the leftist are not judgemental

EPA Awards $100 Million to Michigan for Flint Water Infrastructure Upgrades 03/17/2017 https://www.epa.gov/...ucture-upgrades hey look, funding from a program that existed before President Trump. At least he doesn't want to cut this. The State of Michigan really screwed up in Flint. It's kind of scary how many places have high lead levels in the water. Replacing aging infrastructure is a massive problem here in Canada just like in the US.

JustDoIt 10
Meals on Wheels uses government money to prime the pump and then thousands of people volunteer their time and efforts to really help people. I think it's important to drill down to see what exactly the results are when programs are cut. It's easy to ignore the EPA being cut by 3200 employees but easier to understand something like Meals on Wheels being cut since it helps so many people at a fairly low cost. Steph HabermanVerified account @StephLauren Trump cutting funding to Meals on Wheels, which delivers food to homebound, needy elderly https://www.nytimes....-cuts.html?_r=0 … Again, very misleading............Meals on Wheel primary source of funding is the Older Americans Act. Scrim 115
Is he doing anything that might **** with Meals on Wheels? Like, anything at all? Because if he can't find it in his heart to fund that, then **** him, I hope he loses his 2nd campaign.
Balloon guy 158
UPDATED: Here's a statement from Meals on Wheels America, the national coordinating group for the service, on federal funding. The nationwide Meals on Wheels network, comprised of 5,000, local, community-based programs, receives 35% of its total funding for the provision of congregate and home-delivered meals from the federal government through the Older Americans Act, administered by the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Community Living. Other federal funding sources that support Meals on Wheels program operations may include the Community Development Block Grant, Community Services Block Grant or the Social Services Block Grant. In addition, programs rely on contributions from state or local governments, private donations and other resources to cover the rest, demonstrating one of the best examples of a successful public-private partnership. Meals on Wheels America, the largest and oldest national organization representing senior nutrition programs across the country, receives only 3% of its funding from the government, specifically to run the National Research Center on Nutrition and Aging. From Nick Gillespie's article. He's a Never Trumper I am curious how many high paying jobs at HHS will be cut before the programs they oversee are cut? I'll bet none. Regarding block grant funding, I knew a guy who oversaw the block grants for the city I lived in at the time. He had $600K to distribute, to any organization that fit the parameters set forth by the overseeing authorities, in a city of about 35K at the time He begged people to fill out the paperwork to get all the money into the community. It was a pain to find enough places that he could give money to, $25k max. He even ended up putting in a handicap ramp at a local lake's boat ramp, even though that lake was 2 cities away. In other words, the block grant program is one giant chunk of money given to government employees who have no motivation other than another chore added to their workload. He hated it. And contractors looked for things to build to overcharge the government. Anything with the words senior, handicap, or Aids and it was an easy $25k check just form that one small municipality. I shudder to think what the big cities get and how corrupt their distribution chain is. I bet we could double the Meals on Wheels budget with just the waste in the block grant programs. In other words, this is another staged photo meant to tug at the bleeding hearts of people who already think Trump is literally Hitler. I doubt the republicans will have the stones to actually cut the budget. Their weakness is the reason Trump was elected. Well that and the dems having such a weak bench and a collection of stupid ideas.
Balloon guy 158
It is kind of funny though that the leftist SJWs have so badly destroyed their own party, losing hundreds of elected seats, completely shifting the power to the right, and are now in the position to NEED the republicans to stop Trump. They must beg the republicans to do what they are incapable of doing because they are not relevant in political terms anymore. Thanks Obama! Ne really..THANK YOU OBAMA

Because if he can't find it in his heart to fund that, then **** him, I hope he loses his 2nd campaign. Trump will not even visit the Social Sec and Medicare mess, I am sure he would not target Meals on Wheels. According to Meals on Wheels they are serving 23 million fewer meals since 2005 due to budgeting. I do not know how they exactly arrives at the but I do know that Trump has not been in charge the last 12 years. The press that put out the total misleading headlines and the people that regurgitate it are totally pathetic people, They could not even do three minutes of research to get it right.
