Dubey 1,035
Unless you live in a swing state, Bob has as much control over who wins the election as any of you, and the outcome does affect Canadians, regardless of how dismissive you guys are of our opinions.
brvheart 1,758
he truly is an unthinking piece of shit Brian Tashman @briantashman 1h1 hour ago Trump says "strong" people can handle the tragedies of war and won't need mental health help He definitely is, at least according to Brian Tashman's version of this quote. It might be helpful to your cause (which is what? Convincing Dubey that he should root for Clinton?) to use actual quotes and context instead of random Tweets.

FCP Bob 1,321
This makes perfect sense. The evidence fits that Trump probably used a tax loophole that was closed by a change in legislation in 2002 that allowed him to personally take the large losses of his S Corp on his personal taxes without actually suffering the economic loss himself. Here's the best theory we've seen of how Trump paid so little tax
scuudagouch 15
So can we agree Trump followed the tax code that he didn't create and was the law of the land? that appears to be a pretty obvious yes...as typical nothing to see here folks move along. When does this clown start looking into the Clinton Foundation
FCP Bob 1,321
Always Be Grifting The story of Donald Trump's Atlantic City comeback is even worse than his collapse He made millions by ripping off shareholders. Mom and pop investors who had the misfortune to put their confidence in Trump lost nearly everything. But as a performance of low cunning, his stewardship of THCR really did verge on genius. The company itself was a dumpster fire, losing money every year Trump served as chair. But he managed to personally pocket $44 million in salary and bonuses. Even more egregiously, he offloaded personal debts onto the corporate balance sheet and had the public company purchase services ranging from bottled water to plane flights from Trump’s privately held enterprises. scuudagouch 15
I love liberals - the intentions are so good (actually they often have bad intentions they just lie about then try to paint a pretty picture) and the ideas are so bad....it does get tiring waiting for them to grow up and some of them never actually learn but eventually some of them do!! FCP Bob 1,321
This is a good article from one of the best Republican Economics writers that helps explain how fiscal and monetary policies interact with each other. Balloon guy 158
"one of the best Republican Economics writers" That previously was an opinion writer and chooses a picture of Trump being prayed for as the first picture for an article about economics. Bob, Putting adjectives in front of shills doesn't unshill them. And BTW, The first paragraph could better be headlined as: "Trumps fiscal plans cuts current deficit spending limits from by over 60%, from $10Trillion in 8 years, to only $5Trillion in 10 years. Of course I don't expect to get the largest economic growth drop in one year amongst any first world country in the history of economist records ever that we got with this insane deficit spending that MANY ACCOMPLAISHED ECONOMIST SAY IS THE RIGHT WAY TO RUN OUR FISCAL HOUSE. The International Monetary Fund downgraded the economic growth outlook for the United States to 1.6 percent in 2016, which is the largest one-year drop seen for an advanced economy, according to the Fund’s World Economic Outlook report.According to the report, the United States grew at a rate of 2.6 percent in 2015 and is projected to slow to 1.6 percent in 2016, a decline of 38 percent. The United States’ decline in growth is the largest one-year drop seen in all of the advanced economies such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Italy, and Spain. Balloon guy 158
No, those are power hungry politicians who are worried the public trough of huge grafts and influence might be upset by someone not on board with the program. See the Republicans are the only party filled with people who think corrupt government officials are a bad thing, and are trying to fix it. People like you think it's corrupt but as long as they give free abortions and say they care, then you'll vote for them to continue destroying the country. You keep voting for the lizards because they are your lizards. I always prefer non politicians to politicians. Give me someone who has seen what corrupt government does over someone who profits from the corruption. Side note: Do you think Hillary is excited by the destruction in Haiti? They made a bundle last time. Think they're getting ready to profit from this recent disaster? Oh but Trump took a deduction on his taxes...we can't vote for him.

BigDMcGee 3,355
The GOP officials that are jumping ship now, are so disingenuous. Nothing Trump said is in any way out of character or tone from him. He's the same guy who he's always been, and for them to object now is just sheer self preservative cowardice. If Trump was polling well, instead of dropping like a rock after the debate, there would be silence/excuse making from the GOP. I almost want Trump to win, just to see the shit he makes these hacks eat, that abandoned him today. I bet Ben Sasse is absolutely insufferable with the " i told you so's" right about now.
