David_Sklansky 1,903
9 times out 10 i eat chipotle for lunch, where my options are limited, so a good sit down mexican place is not possible. With panda, i prefer a sit down normal chinese place but we were talking fast food, so those places dont count. I've never been anyplace that had either a Panda Express and no real Chinese, or anyplace with a Chipoltle but no legit TexMex, so I'll take your word. But it's time for you to move.

But it's time for you to move. Agreed. I've been in BFE little towns in the middle of nowhere that have Chinese and Mexican restaurants. That said, I'm on SA's side in this. When looking for a lunch spot time to get in and out is usually a more important factor than simply comparing cost. With Chipotle and Panda you can be in and out in 15-20 minutes easy. Not generally the case with full service restaurants.

If your day is so densely packed that you can't carve out an extra 10 minutes to not have to pound down hot garbage and sprint back to your car, you need to reevaluate your lifestyle. Ten minutes is the difference between having an awesome lunch every single day and having two awesome lunches per week.
