InternetExplorer 2,609
You'd think I would be sympathizing with jimmy re: getting turned down, but even after having been rejected a billion times, I really don't. Nepotism is a joke. I respect Chuck even more for not allowing it.

brvheart 1,753
I was happy to see Mike was going to be in the series. That guy is a crazy good actor. I'm looking forward to seeing how they develop Mike's backstory.

I'm looking forward to seeing how they develop Mike's backstory. I like both the actor and character a lot as well. Just have to forget that his appearance in this series is older than what he looked like in Breaking Bad when the character is a lot younger here.

BigDMcGee 3,352
Another Dynamite show. I can't believe Bob Freaking Odinkirk is staring in the best drama on TV. Like, I worshiped Mr Show as a college student. Me and my friends would get stoned and pass around these old VHS tapes that someone's friend's brother had recorded off HBO, in the time before ON Demand everything. We'd watch these grainy videos of MR show for hours and have our minds blown. I still think Mr Show holds up better than almost any Sketch Comedy show. We'd joke about the "Bob Freakout" because Bob seemed to go from zero to SUPER ANGRY at the flip of the switch, and when ever one of us would flip out, we'd laugh at them and call it a Bob Freakout. I mean, I loved Bob but I never in a million years thought he'd be anything but a comedian. I never, ever, ever saw this coming for him, that he'd star in the Best Drama on TV. Not even when he first appeared on Breaking Bad ( and I was SUPER excited, when Saul joined the cast). This show is.. so unprecedented for me, on so many levels.

This show is.. so unprecedented for me, on so many levels. For some reason, I distinctly recall being on a school trip...maybe my senior year. I was in hotel in Florida and had elected to take the living room couch bed as opposed to sharing the queen beds with classmates. It was around midnight, and I was thrilled to see that Mr. Show was on. The episode was the one with The Story of Everest. The lead-in of the Fairsley Difference and then The Story of Everest might've been my favorite 1-2 punch ever in a sketch comedy show. I remember laughing at them at least as hard as I've ever laughed at anything on TV. Unfortunately, when I show people the skits, they aren't generally as blown away as I was. Edit: Wow. So someone agrees with me basically...they made #3 and #2 on this list... http://splitsider.com/2013/06/the-24-best-mr-show-sketches/
