CorvairShaggy 5
First, Good Luck getting any responses. Unfortunately, the strat section died years ago here. Second, when posting in forums, don't post the hand results right away. It can sometimes skew the thinking/rationalization of others posting responses. Here's why in my thinking: PF: Good size raise Flop: Little too high on the raise, but I'm more concerned with the 2 spades, and the min bet and the min raise. In my experience in the micro-stakes, guys will call PF with suited cards ALOT, especially calling stations. I always tend to be more on the cautious side in these situations when there are 2 suited cards on the flop, especially when in position and see a min bet and min raise. I'm still raising here, but maybe .35-.40 Turn: Paired board not good in this situation. When both of them min played the flop then called your huge raise, they generally will have something. Either they are flush drawing here, or they made a pair. In the micros, some people think bottom pair is solid, so seeing the board paired could mean someone just won the lotto with a set now. Once again, UTG just min-bet which is ridiculous. MP makes a goofy raise. Should have just put UTG all-in. If it were me in this spot as played, I would have just re-raised to put UTG all-in. He's either calling the other third of his stack, or folding. MP still has enough behind to just call and hope he gets his flush. If MP would have 4-bet back at you, then it's decision time, but kinda doubt that would have happened. Here I think you should have just went for pot control, and kept it lower in this case. River: Without reading anymore, I knew you were screwed. It happens.... That is why generally I tend to play these types of boards cautiously. You still want to be a bit aggressive because you have position, but watch your bet sizing. Again, just my .02c worth ...
kittybet 0
Thanks a lot for the reply. It is no problem for being screwed though (shit happens xD), i mean, I had 69% winning on the turn, so I thought to raise it well. I Agree though that I had to control the pot instead of shooting aggressively like that. At the river i might had some chips to fold with... p.s. what do you mean by that, I mean, the result is at the end? don't post the hand results right away
