Dubey 1,035
The MLB lost Buster Posey for a year due to a home plate collision. They are now so far on the negative side of the "overall excitement gained/lost due to home plate collisions" ledger, that they will never get back in the black.
BigBadFish 0
I don't watch baseball to see collisions at home so good call by MLB. You can't impede a base runners progress the rest of the way so why have they allowed it at home all this time? Anyway good for baseball and it helps protect catchers. David_Sklansky 1,903
As soon as we lose our franchise catcher and I want him to get hurt, they pull this. Notice that the league never gave a **** when the Yankees had that scrub Russell Martin on the line. Fishy, fishy timing.
