MapleLeafpoker 1,462
While I have no agenda like Serge, I still think Barkov-Nichushkin could go either way. my best bet is that both will be very very good, maybe great.
FCP Bob 1,321
Just playing the field (KHL factor) with the cap going up I think guys who are top end talents will stay in the NHL. It's the guys who are marginal 3rd liner types who are going to be more likely to head back to Russia

serge 904
I don't understand. I didn't trade this guy. I traded a pick that I was going to use on Barkov.

I really don't care to have this discussion, but I'm pretty sure I know what Arp meant. And I think you'd know too if you weren't involved. NICHUSHKIN!
digitalmonkey 929
I think Barkov and Nichushkin will both be very good players. I went with Nichuskin because: 1. I think he has a higher upside 2. I think he'll be the better goal scorer 3. Arp wanted him
Zach6668 513
I had #3 in the FCHL and went with Barkov. I think I may have gone Nichushkin if our draft was as late as the AHL draft. Even then, I struggled over this pick, then decided to go a little bit safer with Barkov. I think Nichushkin probably has a higher ceiling, but more risk involved, at least this is what I thought at the time of our drafts. Both should be very good players,
Fenxis 99
Post-Filatov I'm not entirely sure I would have gone for either but, given my draft pos, it wasn't an option.

Zach6668 513
He was born in Finland. He was drafted out of Finland. He played hockey in the Finnish league. He is, for all intents and purposes, not Russian.
