This is a true story.

 

Starting today and running through December 15, PokerStars will give you $1,000 in cash if you get one of your friends to go buy in to the Main Event. Oh, and if you are one of the people who are lucky enough to have more than one friend, you can get $1,000 for each one you invite who buys in to the Main Event. Yes, of course there are Terms & Conditions. For instance, you'll have to play the Main, too. You think you're going to get this great of a deal without paying attention to some details? Read all of this so you know exactly what's happening.

Oh, you say you don't have any friends who are ready to put up the buy-in and make you $1,000? Well, that doesn't mean you don't have a chance to go. For the next few weeks PokerStars will be running some very cool promotions to send you to the PCA.

 

PCA Freerolls: Even if you don't have a ton of friends lined up and ready to front the buy-in, you and your pals still have a chance to join us for poker's greatest vacation. From now until November 27, PokerStars will be running freerolls at 12:15, 15:15, and 20:15 ET

Winners will also get complimentary hotel accommodation at the Atlantis Resort. Then on Sunday October 27 PokerStars will be guaranteeing 20 packages to the PCA.

1.3 Further to Clause 1.2 above, the following conditions apply to any Referral:

(b). The Referred Friend must not have attended any PCA event for the preceding 5 (five) years prior to the date of this current Event;
