Does Daniel still follow that "no deals" philosophy? Brutal time to put that into practice.   Also, sick Keith Crime cameo in this thread.

A guy who looks like that, sitting in the biggest game in the place, should be assumed to be an unstoppable machine.

idiots

love haralabob. i'd love to be his turtle, if he needs a guy like that.

Let's get a crew together and make Vegas Knights. The glamor that would surround such a prestigious, multi-honored project would likely make us and our Entourage-like lifestyle standout and appeal to a major league super stud Winner like Haralabob. I have an idea for a scene that showcases my archery, so I think I should play the lead.

Hey Bob, did DN ever disclose what % he sold of his action in this?

I don't think so. I don't know how much of himself that he has but I'm guessing he probably has more of himself than some of the other pros based on how willing he's been in Super High Rollers to risk over $500K in one tourney in Australia for example.

Hand #31: Tom Hall Bubbles on First Hand of the Day

Hand #31: Daniel Negreanu had the button.

Tom Hall open-shipped all in for 7.7 million from the hijack. After about one minute, Negreanu re-raised all in from the button. The blinds folded and the hands were turned over.

Hall: 10d.gif10s.gif

Negreanu: as.gifqd.gif

The flop came down jc.gifac.gif5s.gif, pairing Negreanu's ace and giving him the lead in the hand. The 4s.gif fell on the turn, eliciting applause from Negreanu's rail. The2s.gif finished the board and just like that Tom Hall was eliminated on the bubble. Each remaining player is guaranteed at least $1,306,607 in prize money as the official final table is set!

Also, sick Keith Crime cameo in this thread.

Daniel not wanting to make deals isn't a hard and fast rule. He's always thought not doing deals gives him an edge but he will do a deal if he thinks it's in his best interest.

The payout structure is a bit of a strange one being very flat at the bottom end and then with huge increases at the end.

2 8,288,001

3 4,480,001

Cary Katz Eliminated in 8th Place ($1,306,607)

Hand #9: Daniel Negreanu raised to 1.2 million in the cutoff, Cary Katz moved all in for 7.475 million out of the big blind, and Negreanu snap-called.

Negreanu: js.gifjh.gif

Katz: 8h.gif8c.gif

The flop fell 9d.gif4s.gif7c.gif, giving Katz some backdoor straight draws, but the ah.gifeliminated all of them.

Only one of the two remaining eights in the deck could save him, and it was not to be as the 4d.gif completed the board.

Paul Newey Eliminated in 7th Place ($1,418,667)

Hand #24: Paul Newey had the button and moved all in for his last 1.075 million. Scott Seiver called from the small blind and Rick Salomon came along from the big blind.

The flop came 2h.gif7d.gifkh.gif and Seiver checked. Salomon fired out a bet and Seiver folded, allowing the hands to be turned over.

Salomon: ah.gif4h.gif

Newey: ac.gifjh.gif

Newey held the best hand on the flop with ace-jack high while Salomon looked for a heart or a four to take the lead. There was no sweat, as the qh.gif rolled off on the turn and gave Salomon the nut flush. The jd.gif finished the board and Newey became the seventh place finisher.

Scott Seiver Eliminated in 6th Place ($1,680,000)

Hand #35: Daniel Negreanu raised to 1.6 million out of the small blind, Scott Seiver called on his direct left, and the flop fell 9d.gifjd.gif10s.gif. Negreanu checked, Seiver fired out what looked like two million, and Negreanu quickly check-raised all in. Seiver quickly called all in for 10.375 million.

Negreanu: jh.gif3s.gif

Seiver: 10d.gif5d.gif

The as.gif on the turn was no help to Seiver, nor was the 4s.gif on the river, and he was eliminated in sixth place.

and Daniel knocks out another

Tobias Reinkemeier Eliminated in 5th Place ($2,053,334)

Hand #39: Daniel Negreanu was under the gun and opened to 1.6 million. Christoph Vogelsang flatted from the button and Tobias Reinkemeier called all in for 1.075 million from the big blind.

The trio saw a flop of 7d.gif9d.gif8d.gif and Negreanu took the lead into the side pot for 2.5 million. Vogelsang let it go and the hands were turned over.

Negreanu: qd.gif10d.gif

Reinkemeier: js.gif8s.gif

Negreanu had a death grip on the hand with a flopped diamond flush against Reinkemeier's pair of eights. The kh.gif dropped down on the turn, leaving Reinkemeier drawing dead to the 6c.gif river. Negreanu scored another elimination and Reinkemeier was eliminated in fifth place for $2,053,334.

Dropping like flies now

Rick Salomon Eliminated in 4th Place ($2,800,000)

Hand #40 With a dead small blind, Rick Salomon moved all in for 12.9 million out of the hijack seat. Daniel Colman called on the button, and Daniel Negreanu surrendered his big blind.

Salomon: 8d.gif8c.gif

Colman: ac.gif10h.gif

There was a ten in the window of the flop, and a second followed it as the dealer fanned 10s.gif3h.gif10c.gif. Colman's rail exploded into a chorus of cheers.

The turn had three sides, but the 7d.gif was a brick, as was the qc.gif on the river.

Salomon, who was the chip leader entering the day, was eliminated in fourth place, earning an even $2.8 million, and Colman has just under 50 million chips.
