BiggieD,

My closest living relative is a Virgo, so I get you. Ally to Ally I'll unpack my feeling.

I'm concerned you've violated this sacred space of birthdays all for a long ago, probably not very funny joke, which may have revolved around your sexuality. Get the good pope (not the shitty one) to bless your apology and let's move into a place of healing.

I'm just assuming that is his birthday, and he is seventy one years old. That'd be such a Virgo thing to do.

That John Adams movie was Jeffersonian propaganda tripe, and instead of actually writing dialog, they just ripped shit that he wrote in letters and used that for his dialog. Which I'm sure made lovely 18th Century prose, but made shitty 21 century TV dialog.

Tatum O'Neal

I can't believe Tatum O'Neal is still alive, and Ryan O'Neal still has a career. That is one fvcked up family--everyone remember this story? The setting is Farrah Fawcett's funeral, and the source is a Vanity Fair article Ryan sat for. Like, Jesus. What's the really dark stuff he can't tell anyone?

"I had just put the casket in the hearse and I was watching it drive away when a beautiful blonde woman comes up and embraces me," Ryan told me. "I said to her, 'You have a drink on you? You have a car?' She said, 'Daddy, it's me--Tatum!' I was just trying to be funny with a strange Swedish woman, and it's my daughter. It's so sick."

"That's our relationship in a nutshell," Tatum said when I asked her about it. "You make of it what you will." She sighed. "It had been a few years since we'd seen each other, and he was always a ladies' man, a bon vivant."
