Hell no, where would I get a giant hornet from plus I'm not nuts.

It's just the entire concept of 'flat screen TV' as being relevant to anything anymore.   People still say "flat screen TV" with implied context as though this were 2001 and they cost $5K.

I don't think acceptance of equality has anything to do with it. Rome had no such illusions, they believed in the superiority of races and even in the superiority of family blood lines. Rome was force

WSJ Archives: 25 Years Ago in Beijing, A ‘Movement Unlikely to Die’

June 4 marks the 25th anniversary of the violent suppression of pro-democracy protests in China’s Tiananmen Square — an event that shocked TV audiences around the world, made global pariahs of the country’s top leaders and set a precedent for decades of iron-fisted reaction to political dissent.

In the immediate aftermath of the crackdown, bodies piled up in Beijing morgues, with the Chinese Red Cross estimating the night’s fatalities at 2,600, according to one editorial writer’s account of events in The Wall Street Journal at the time.

Meanwhile, observers struggled to make sense of such an abrupt ending to the protests, which had inspired similar activity across the country. Many viewed the idea that such a movement could be crushed with disbelief. “A rebellion that few believe will now die,” is how reporters for The Wall Street Journal described it in a front-page story analyzing the fallout of the crackdown, which began the night of June 3.
