Hell no, where would I get a giant hornet from plus I'm not nuts.

It's just the entire concept of 'flat screen TV' as being relevant to anything anymore.   People still say "flat screen TV" with implied context as though this were 2001 and they cost $5K.

I don't think acceptance of equality has anything to do with it. Rome had no such illusions, they believed in the superiority of races and even in the superiority of family blood lines. Rome was force

America really needs to get a hand on their emissions. Kyoto Protocol and global impact and all that stuff.

this isn't Greenhouse gas emissions this is the amount of dirty crap in the air. In China it's mainly from coal but it also comes from cars, diesel, industry etc.

All the worst American cities are still higher than is considered safe but not at the apocalyptic levels in China.

Bad air like this leads directly to people dying and the Clean Air Act in the US has literally saved millions of lives from ending before they should have.

The funniest part of it all is that pre-Internet Americans were fed a narrative on 'the world' that was just so comically off base, almost Soviet, in its dishonesty... about how those poor souls 'outside the US' (as a sweeping, binary abstraction, you're either an American or you're hating it) are living in dung huts and eating flies while dreaming of how to get to the US of A. Looking back, it's Truman Show'esque.

Granted, China has changed a lot since then but that shouldn't come as any surprise. The idea that a people with a collective higher-than-the-global-norm above average IQ would stand for poverty very long, before figuring out how to get their slice of the pie, was never an economically sustainable strategy.

At least there will always be Africa to exploit.

What's to discourage?

Just pass a law that says for every one Asian baby an American surrogate mother incubates for Asian parents, we get to incubate another Asian baby and keep here for adoption by a middle aged celebrity or loving gay couple, to be raised up and sent to the US Army War College.

If we don't start getting some Oriental blood in there, we're going to have an awfully hard time figuring out how to defeat a billion of them when they have all the money.

I've already been assimilated

Assimilation can create interesting things.

The nation of Brazil is a genetic dumpster and produces the most beautiful women on earth.

Charlie Mingus was Black, Asian and Swedish for christs sake.

Why China’s rich want to live in McMansions and fake châteaux

By Clarissa Sebag-Montefiore

‘The baroque, Tudor and beaux-arts styles have become the architectural equivalent of a Chanel logo on a purse’

They're not a people known for their style or taste (stylistically speaking. They certainly have a taste for odd sources of protein).

All the important architecture in Peking comes from Anglosphere or Euro architects. Don't expect Rome or NYC to relinquish cultural supremacy any time soon, however the Chinese do have a subculture capable of legit creativity. It's just that they've been beaten down by Communism. If they ever free their minds from that systemic shackle, we're so totally ****ed its not even funny.

Also:

“The first has a lot of money but a low education. They like the luxury baroque, Tudor or rococo-style villas: golden, shining and splendid. The second comes from a rich family and has a high education. They prefer low-key and simple. The third are tuhao [literally “local tyrant”, slang for nouveau riche] from [the mining province] Shanxi. They have money but less knowledge. They just want to own the biggest and the best.”

That observation applies worldwide, we're seeing it play out in newly emerging economic powerhouses but we were no different during the 20th Century when Texas Oilmen who didn't know the entire alphabet would hit a gusher and promptly buy a gold plated and diamond encrusted Cadillac with 7' steer horns across the hood. This dot Indian spent 0.25mm on a shirt made of gold...

.. to 'attract a woman' which is quite ironic since I've been to India and a Ford Focus is enough to attract literally their cream of the genetic crop (North Indian women can be straight 10's).

New money is very easy to spot.

Yet if you ask the average American, the Chinese eat dung and live in thatch huts, wishing they could be here where we are FREE and have OPPORTUNITY!

the actual problem is that not enough people are eating them.

Yes, because what a wonder trade-off it is, when a species is decimated in the wild so it can be brought into commercial farming to be raised en-masse in crates as a food source.
