PCA 2013: Team Pro last longer has Negreanu as favorite

by Brad Willis on January 7, 2013 10:58 AM

PokerStars players have overwhelmingly chosen Daniel Negreanu as the favorite to outlast a select list of Team PokerStars Pros, Team Online, and Team SportStars members competing in a promotional last longer.

A couple weeks back, PokerStars announced that anyone picking from the list who chose the correct player in the main event last longer would have up to $100 deposited to his or her account. It might not come as any surprise that Kid Poker forgot more than 23% of the vote.

So, it's now on us at the PokerStars Blog to keep tabs on these people and make sure we know who goes out last.

In the meantime, here's how the vote came out.

Daniel Negreanu: 23.1%

Jason Mercier: 12.1%

ElkY: 11.8%

Vanessa Selbst: 11.1%

Eugene Katchalov: 9.3%

Ivan Demidov*: 6.6%

Jonathan Duhamel: 6.4%

Liv Boeree: 4.9%

Ike Haxton: 2.9%

Jan Hetimann: 2.6%

Andre Akkari: 2.4%

Nacho Barbero: 2.2%

Mickey Petersen: 1.7%

Randy Lew: 1.6%

Fatima Moreira de Melo: 1.2%

* Originally Max Lykov who ended up not being able to make it to the PCA

took EUGENE for this

Hello aucu,

Congratulations, you're a winner in the PCA Team PokerStars Last Longer Promotion!

Your selection, Eugene Katchalov, is the last man standing of the 15 Team Pro players included in the promotion. He's still going strong with 59 players left in the PCA Main Event. You can follow the events unfolding in the Bahamas on the PokerStars Blog.

Your prize money has now been credited to your account. To verify the amount, please visit the 'History' section of the cashier. Your prize will show as an admin credit.

Thanks you for participating in this promotion, and good luck at the tables.
